Arsenal's Energy and Creativity won't go amiss with these three

Szczesny has been a breath of fresh air. He looks to be focused and has this look of someone who is confident in his own ability. He has pulled up some very good saves, gathered almost everything in the air, communicates well with his defence and his passing, both long and short have improved a notch. Our keeper situation is looking to be secure with him manning the post and we have got Fabianski and Viviano to keep him firmly on his feet. Only bodes well for us.

Emirates Cup Thoughts

I've always been sceptical about Sagna at centre back, but yesterday against Galatasaray, he kind of managed to clear my doubts. He was convincing in ground duels and for one not greatly built for a centre back, he managed to dominate in the air. Another thing I noticed is how he comfortably slotted in as a deputy right back when Jenkinson ventured forward which makes you wonder how a real DM would fit into our side and help plug gaps when Sagna acts as an auxiliary right back from his Centre

A lil' more Patience, it'll come

The transfer window is upon us again, we have seen our rivals spend big, better their squad and we are left with only one signing, a signing our fans hardly acknowledge. Well, he is young, what can he offer to better our chances in the league? I get the angle our fans are coming from, we as fans haven't seen triumph since the year 2005, when we beat UTD in the FA Cup final via penalties. We want that back but in wanting that back we throw 'common sense' out the window, me included. We have gone in for Higuain, reportedly agreed a deal with said player, agreed a fee with Madrid and then just when you think the overall deal will click, Madrid go on to shift goal-posts and ask for more. Dick Law, Ivan Gazidis and Arsene Wenger have been bashed

Transfer Window and Arsenal's Basic Need

Diaby could have been one but he is one we can’t rely on hence his switch of squad number. I’m a big fan of Arteta and the role he plays for us, and I’ve searched far and wide and I can’t come up with a name that would do it better, the players close to his level or better(there are a few) are all attached to top clubs. Arteta plays as our deepest midfielder and our play is based on him, his role is called a deep lying player maker, a role Pirlo has made us understand and love. Calls for us needing an out and out defensive midfielder

Arsene Wenger can turn Suarez around

Suarez is quick, nimble, nifty, creative and can play across the front 3 with relative ease. The playing across 3 different positions is what tickles me. We play a 4-2-3-1 formation and Suarez is one that can lead the line, play on either flanks and can also play in the hole just behind the main striker. That’s one stone, 4 birds and my word, that’s fantastic. I’m a sucker for industry and a Suarez-type is what offers that. Another attribute I love about a Suarez-type player is the ability to create goals for themselves and not have to wait for supplies from their supporting cast. Last term I saw Suarez do that a lot and it showed the sort of player he is. Without him, Liverpool would

Midfield lacking and Needs Sorting Out

Happenings at Arsenal this season has dealt a major blow on us fans. Its been a very tough couple of months which has been hard to comprehend. The season started with us being pretty confident about our chances, I for one felt we had a decent squad to really compete for top honours after losing RvP and Alex Song in the summer 'if' we made 1 more signing before deadline day, a DM/box to box midfielder to complement what we have in our ranks. Well, Wenger passed on that which I had no qualms with seeing that Diaby looked like he could do an RvP on us and stay fit all season, I was emphatically wrong. Diaby wobbled off injured against Chelsea in the 1st half and from that day we never looked like we could be that force we showed in earlier games most notably Man

Keeping Theo Walcott at 23 is a must

Measures must be put in place to keep Theo. £80k - £90k isn't too much to offer Theo if truly that's what he is asking for. Some other club would gladly offer him that or more. Theo stats doesn't lie, he was massive for us last term with key goals and assists. Defensively he also helps out, Sagna can

Where Do We Really Lack? Our Pressing Need

Stevan Jovetic who has constantly been linked with us is one player that I see would fit into our current crop, Skilful, eye for the final pass and also good movement in and around the area. The stumbling block is the huge price tag(€25m) on him. We don't do huge figures so we are likely gonna pass except Fiorentina would take a minimal fee being accompanied with Marouane Chamakh. Good business for both sides seeing that Fiorentina wants Chamakh and also

One Last Lap and Midfield Combinations

Truthfully, Song-Ramsey-Rosicky won't be my preferred choice largely because I don't see Song and Ramsey doing the simplest of things. My preferred midfield 3 for WBA would be Coquelin sitting deep, Song doing the box to box duty and Rosicky playing as our attacking midfielder. There we have good protection at the back in Coquelin and Song helping out when on the back foot and Rosicky pressing at the heels of the opposition players + when attacking Rosicky and Song adding fluidity and creativity in the final 3rd

The Arsenal Resurgence

We went into the Liverpool game on the high, Liverpool on the other hand were coming into the game at the back of the Carling Cup success so the battle line was drawn out at Anfield. This was actually the game I felt we would drop points but the reverse was the case, we fell behind from a Koscielny's own goal, had our backs on the wall but still we dug deep, equalised and at the death pulled out a goal. The fighting spirit is there for all to see, we haven't shown this fantastic
