Bischoff can be ‘a very, very good footballer’ says Banfield / Final Sunderland Thoughts

The only thing Arsenal wanted to do today is attack, that is all they wanted to do. At least we tried to stop them

A late night edition of My Vision tonight. I did not have the chance to write anything today as I had far to much on my plate, unfortunately it was not a plate of BBQ spare ribs and french fries.

The horrible International week is back upon us, it really has coming around that quickly. But it seems like for once we are going into it in not so good form, well inconsistent form so I cannot work out if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I am still a little confused about Arsene’s admission that he set out the side to stop Sunderland’s ever so frightening free flowing football *scratches head*

Since when do we attempt to stop mediocre (no offence Mackems) Premier League teams?

Anyway, I really hope we do not see that again. Oh another thing that got my Anelka goat, is Arsene complaining about defending in numbers. That really bugs me and I cannot see what positive effect that kind of complaining can do. So David Moyes is going to watch that interview and say ‘Opps, Wenger doesn’t like that so I better make sure I make him happy by playing our technically weaker team open so he can end his afternoon with a smile on his face’

I was chatting with Gooner79 and he said it is like Roy Keane coming out after a defeat to us and saying

‘The only thing Arsenal wanted to do today is attack, that is all they wanted to do. At least we tried to stop them’

To be honest, it is quite annoying really.

As you can tell, I am still a little sour about the result because it didn’t really have to happen, ESPECIALLY AS NOTHING CHANGED AFTER 45 MINUTES!!! *sigh* I am going to move on from that now, no point harping on about it.

I am about to switch on to the Arsenal Reserves vs Stoke City Reserves on the good ol trusty Arsenal TV channel, I am excited about seeing what the mysterious Amuary Bischoff is like, I will probably write something about him tomorrow for all those who do not have Arsenal TV. Silvestre is also set to play for the first team. I expect them both to be pretty rusty as they haven’t had any football for many months now, but it should be interesting.

Bischoff will play 45 minutes tonight and the 21 year old has been praised by reserve manager Neil Banfield.

Banfield Said:

“Well I must admit, I have been very impressed with Amuary’s (Bischoff) technical qualities, he’s a very very good footballer. We just hope that he can get over his injuries and he can really do hiself justice”

You know what? You may think I am crazy but it could well be a good time to put a little wager on Arsenal winning the league. The results to Hull, Fulham and Sunderland should have made our odds look a bit more appealing, I may well go and check that.

There is obviously plenty doom and gloom going around but there is a long way to go, I still think this squad is better than last seasons squad it just needs tweaking mentally. We need a backs to the walls type attitude and we know we pull out all the stops against the big boys. There are a potential 18 points to gain against the other big 3 so it is in our own hands to make back up the lost points against Fulham, Hull and Sunderland.

Have a good evening, back tomorrow.
