Happy St Totteringham's Day – Season Articles & Photo Special

The North London derby is the name of the football local derby between two North London based teams – Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Both Arsenal and Tottenham (often referred to by their nickname, Spurs) fans have recognized each other as rivals despite the fact that, until recently, they rarely competed in the same area on the table. Arsenal traditionally has been a top 4 team while Spurs had been competing for mid table. With Spurs' recent success, they have vaulted themselves to the top 6 and, in 2010, they qualified for the UEFA Champions League by placing within the top 4. Since, they have competed with Arsenal for Champions League places.

My mate is in the Arsenal PR department and gives me all the insider knowledge…

The Norwich game wasn’t pleasant viewing, was it? No.. It was bordering on farcical; almost pantomime-like defending and a bewildering lack of concentration when there was much at stake. Fortunately, the footballing gods saw fit to grant us yet another chance to end the season on a good note. Proceedings should really have been finished and secured a long time ago, but the concept is simple enough

One Last Lap and Midfield Combinations

Truthfully, Song-Ramsey-Rosicky won't be my preferred choice largely because I don't see Song and Ramsey doing the simplest of things. My preferred midfield 3 for WBA would be Coquelin sitting deep, Song doing the box to box duty and Rosicky playing as our attacking midfielder. There we have good protection at the back in Coquelin and Song helping out when on the back foot and Rosicky pressing at the heels of the opposition players + when attacking Rosicky and Song adding fluidity and creativity in the final 3rd

SONG!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?? YOU'RE NOT MESSI!!

The final fixtures require a team effort. Everyone has a position and a job, and they’ll be needing to adopt a professional approach. Take things lightly, be blasé and there could be more reason for us to wish humiliating defeat on Chelsea when they play Bayern - if we needed any more. I don’t want to be watching the games and screaming at the television, ‘SONG!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?? YOU’RE NOT MESSI!

Lukas Podolski: A Heads Up From A FC Koln Supporter

Lukas was only 21 when he transferred to Bayern. He was very young, and his attitude did not seem right to me. Also, he was often injured and had to face a strong competition with Miroslav Klose. Bayern Munich is a top club in Europe and the world. There is hardly a unique position for a single player. You have to prove yourself in every practice. In my opinion, the change to Munich was too early

We can finish 3rd. Please don’t let Chelsea win the Champions League. Please

At the weekend, we travel to the Neanderthal Stadium to face Stoke and Tony Pulis. By no means an easy task. Without Arteta and Walcott for the remainder of the season, with with Newcastle breathing down our necks like an angry donkey, now is not the time for one of ‘those’ Arsenal performances rife with calamitous defending. We need to unite to progress. We need to really go all guns blazing to obtain 9 points from our remaining game - a points tally that absolutely guarantees the

Potential transfers: The 3 areas Arsenal should strengthen

Yaan M’Vila of Rennes is the popular choice to arrive over the summer, and he looks a strong, tenacious player in the mould of Flamini. Adding a little bite in our midfield wouldn’t go amiss either. For all our beautifully intricate approach play, there’s the odd occasion I’d like to see someone thunder through Joey Barton in the centre circle. That might just be because he’s Joey Barton.

Madness, madness, madness! The FA and Alan Davies

How can a governing body wielding that much power, allow decisions to be made by people who quite obviously have no experience or understanding of the game? It must be time to have representation on these panels from someone -anyone - who has some level of experience in football. If not, stupidity, violence and cheating will continue to go unpunished because of appalling incompetence and ridiculous loopholes put in place to enable fat, corrupt bureaucrats to have no means of overruling the dubious Nazis they allow to

EXCLUSIVE: Q&A With Piers Morgan

the worst violence I’ve ever seen at first hand. At one stage I had to run to avoid being caught up in it, as glass was smashing everywhere - a very scary experience. The Mirror did exactly the same with the story as ever other paper – and, as with the sports stories, I didn’t let my Arsenal allegiance get in the way. All the papers, not just the Mirror, slammed many Arsenal fans for behaving like hooligans and causing trouble, and it certainly seemed that way at the time. That was

Uefa – will common sense ever prevail?

There is a big difference between a personal insult and a perfectly valid criticism. The latter is what Arsene is being punished for. If you ask me, this is hypocrisy to the highest level; Uefa can say what they please, yet Arsene Wenger - not your average man on the street - is punished for expressing his views. Now surely, if anybody, one of the world's most respected managers should be allowed to voice his opinions without being at risk of reprisal. It reminds me of when I was 11 years old playing for a local Sunday League team, and my
