He had better install the beep test in his garden and get beeping. I want to see this player that Arsene can see. Sounds like fun. He has been taking the piss in the reserves though, making it look like a walk in the park. I am sure he will feature tomorrow, perhaps even start by the sound of Wenger but where will he play as I am sure Nicklas Bendtner will start. I would have suggested that Emmanuel-Thomas would have started on the right but little Theo will be having none of that. The left doesn't really suit JET so Wenger will have to figure that one out
JET was once again brushing past the opposition with both skill and strength. His third was a delightful clipped curling effort beyond the outstretched dive of the keeper. Reserve level looks a little silly for Jay right now. With so many forward players ahead of him in the first team right now, the logical thing seems like sending him on loan, perhaps that will happen but maybe it would happen after our Carling Cup game with Newcastle United
I did manage to grab some Arsenal TV online action this morning on the AGM that was taking place yesterday. Much of the same it must be said but nevertheless, I pretty much agreed with everything that was being said by Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis. I am still wearing my AKB badge proudly as I write this
Rosicky is correct in saying that we need to be as clinical in the Premier League as we are in the Champions League. As it was at Stamford Bridge, we will not be afforded the luxury of missed chances. No more point blank headers sailing over the bar please lads. The difference from the Chelsea game will be in the probable inclusion of a certain Mr Fabregas. If the ball falls to him inside the penalty area then I expect him to have calmness and conviction to stick his chance away. His obvious vision and execution of pass will hopefully allow us to open up City some more
Arsene has said that Koscielny is out with a back problem and Thomas Vermaelen is ten days or so away which should mean that Johan Djourou who classed himself as 100% fit should come in and partner the Squiller. Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner are back in the squad which is great
I could understand the interest. In some ways I think a player like Denilson would be a more important target than our captain Cesc Fabregas. Denilson may not have the DNA but his reading of the game, ability to keep possession and keep the ball moving along with his intercepting skills just points to a the perfect Barcelona target. If there is an interest then I wouldn't be surprised if he made a name for himself when he came off the bench at the Emirates
what do you make of the tackling debate? Interesting isn't it? I have never even heard anything about it until De Jong's tackle and Danny Murphy's comments. This is the first time it has ever been brought to our attention. Or so it seems, so we are made to believe. I dunno, I get the sense of deja vu when speaking of the recklessness in the game but not one person has linked it with Arsene Wenger's RECENT comments. Journalists and pundits are usually so good at knitting themes together but they have missed this one, why the hell is that?
Throwing Wilshere into the first team as a starter for the seniors is not something that I think should be rushed at the momenet, having said that bringing Wilshere off the bench to replace someone like Gerrard when the game is safe would be a good thing for Jack so I can understand the clamour to have Wilshere in both squads
