I would not be too worried about Frimpong starting as long as he has experience around him, experience that will drop back and support him when we do not have the ball. I am hoping that Abou Diaby can make it in time for the game, his ability to win the ball, along with his natural tendency to get forward will give Frimpong a nice balanced partner. The only problem concerning Diaby is that he often needs a few games to get into decent form. Cesc is the kind of player who can come back in without football and perform
A story that sounds more realistic would be the Spahic rumour. Bacary Sagna had something to say about him on Arsenal.com, I read the article at the time and now all of a sudden the story has been removed. Hmmmm *scratches hairs on chin*
At least make the figure somewhere realistic if you are going to make up a value for goodness sake. I would have said something like Arsenal are set to table a bid of £12million with an extra £3 million add-ons
Is Cesc allowed to leave on a free transfer next season? I don't think so, do you? If Barcelona come back next season, obviously after all their squad members take it in turns to drag Cesc's name through the Arsenal mud
A collection of players with the potential of reaching world class if a few variables are met. Many will filter through the net and make careers for themselves elsewhere but the special players are at the right club at the right time
Koscienly is certainly not the type to just dive in and over commit himself. From what I witnessed in the Emirates cup, he likes to stand his ground, wait for the right moment like a snake and strike when the forward is not expecting it
There is no reason as to why his performances should dip. As soon as you cross those white lines as they say, you should only be thinking only of the opponents in front of you and your next pass
Don't get it twisted, I want to see quality additions.. erm added. But the mentality of the current squad would give us a bigger boost in my amateur opinion
It was pretty much this time last year when Jack Wilshere really made a name for himself. Jack lit up the Emirates cup, showing balance, grace, no fear and confidence that was far beyond his years. Then came all the talk of playing for England and being a starter in the Arsenal team
I know nothing about the Russian number one. I don't know how he would fair against the physical nature of the Premier League, I do not know what he is like on one on ones given the fact that we play quite a high line
