But hey, lets not dig up old dirt. Lets give him the chance to lay down some fresh soil. Who knows it may end up smelling of roses! (that was a good'n wasn't it?)
A lot of the youngsters haven't impressed greatly this pre season, well not enough to force themselves into the first team as Wilshere has done
I am very excited about what he will give this team. Not since Marc Overmars have we had an explosive wide goalscorer. Since Walcott has been playing with the first team, his pre season form has been good
When Thierry left I was very skeptical about the Adebayor and Van Persie partnership. I was after all used to the Bergkamp and Henry combination for many years
The Barry-Alonso-Benitez-Wenger-O'Neill roundabout continues to go round and round. Wenger must have targeted Alonso from last season as he said he will be making a move for a Premier League player who has experience
It is something that we will never really know so I think it is time to put it behind us. My view is that I was happy whatever happened to Adebayor. If we sold him for £30 million then we would have bought a new striker (probably) and maybe adapted our style a little to accommodate the new player
Imagine that nasty, slimy Peter Kenyon whispering sweet nothings in the ears of Jacks parents
Robin Van Persie looked full of magic in his first match back of his pre season. I like every Gooner out there prays that the injury curse is behind him. Great teams need that extra magic from one player usually and he is that player
Aaron Ramsay is infact a better prospect that I thought. He is better on the ball than I thought. Ramsay is very skilful and turned away from players very well.
Hleb and Flamini are very good players and worked very well for us but Arsene is good enough to build another midfield, which might even be stronger than the one we had last year. My only concern will be how they start the season
