I am interested to know what Arsene will do with the rest of the team, he often rests players who have played International football but given the importance of the game it could well be seen as somewhat of a risk. Andrey Arshavin for example has played plenty of minutes in Russia's last two
The rumour mill has been in full effect. Goalkeepers are standing in an orderly queue outside Ashburton Grove with their silver pens ready to sign on the dotted line to be Arsene's new goalkeeper. The latest seems to be Bolton's Al Habsi who is on loan at Wigan and he had a man of the match performance at the Emirates earlier this season. First Ajax's Maarten Stekelenburg threw his hat into the ring, Pepe Reina was supposedly the subject

I was furious when George Graham had sold him to Leeds United for £2 million. I could not understand why we would let go of one of us. Rocastle is Arsenal so why sell him? Apparently Rocastle was in tears when Graham told him his plans and that just shows how much he cared for the club.
My only concern would be the match fitness of the returning players. As good as a player is, usually they need to have a had a few games under their belts before we see the best and we do not have a few games to ease players back in. I am thinking more of Theo Walcott and Alex Song. While Cesc may need fine tuning, he still can see passes that other players do not and his ability to make the final
Jens Lehmann made his Arsenal comeback today for the Arsenal reserves against Wigan. We lost the game 2-1 and apparently Jens was not at his best and made a few errors which isn't at all surprising. He is 41 and hasn't played regular football for sometime now. He will need more time. I expect Manuel Almunia to continue in between the sticks and I am backing him to come through with a good display against Blackburn. Almunia has
Cesc, I love you dearly. You have been fantastic for Arsenal and I hope you see out your best years at Arsenal and wait for our very promising youngsters such as Wilshere and Ramsey to be experienced and developed enough to replace you but if you leave then such is life. We are the Arsenal, we will continue and open a new chapter. It is just not worth investing so much emotion in wondering if a player will stay at the club or
I am no tactical genius so the answer could be quite simple and could be slipping past me but from the evidence that I have seen over the last few seasons, when we fight to win the ball back and hem the opposition back then we are at our best and can beat anyone but when we switch that off
Individually each of those players are important but they are all equally as important to each other. Alex Song provides a stable platform for the likes of Cesc to play those all important killer passes. Cesc needs movement from his team mates to play those killer passes and the one player who moves
Stuart Pearce is having a blinking bubble bath if he is seriously considering picking Jack Wilshere for the U21 European Championships. Pearce has vowed to include the top players including Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll. With the latter it is not so much an issue as injury has robbed him of playing time during this season. Jack Wilshere is a different case, not only has he played almost a full season so far, he is in his first full year as an

Aaron Ramsey shouldn't have been picking up Steven Reid, an obvious miss match but without Diaby, Song, Djourou, Bendtner and Chamakh in our line up we were seriously lacking height and dominance
