If you was to ask me who I thought was the player of the season before I looked at the figures then I would have said our captain Cesc Fabregas who has contributed to most of our goals this season

Wenger was rarely able to start his best team this season. Be that as it may, you would hope that the players that come in can perform to the levels expected at Arsenal football club. Perhaps I'm putting to much pressure on these guys

My thoughts went back to our game against Manchester United at the Emirates. 0-0 Arshavin in a similar position but went for goal when Cesc and Nasri were in good positions

Taking our chances will be so important in the early stages and with our front three likely to be Van Persie, Walcott and Arshavin I expect them to have the required quality to settle us down with an early goal
