I'm also hoping that we have Diaby back for those fixtures as those 2 along with Cesc are our best trio for the midfield berths in my opinion. Diaby does have his critics but I rate him and he has come on allot this season
I know that I am not making that up because it leaves me feeling a little frustrated for several reasons. Firstly those same people quickly forget that Robin Van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Gael Clichy and Alex Song
Aston Villa's main weapons will be from set pieces where they will be looking to take advantage of our current lack of height. The team will also have to be switched on to the counter attack if we are to push forward and take the game to Villa
I wish we would be a little more conservative against the better sides. Perhaps do not over commit our full backs as often and rely on Cesc and our front men to do the damage. Sometimes it feels like we are playing into the opposition's hands
Cesc Fabregas was supposed to take his place on the bench alongside the other first team players but Jack Wilshere pulled out at the last moment
Wenger will have little choice but to field some of the first team players and in certain cases it is very helpful. Gael Clichy and Theo Walcott are two players who are lacking match practice and an extra game will do them good
Arsenal have been given labels from journalists and pundits, many of which seem to be ex Arsenal players. They are churned out over and over again, even if the labels have no truth whatsoever
Our new found fight and resilience will be seriously put to the test over the next four league games. You can try and stay as grounded as you like and take 'one game at a time' but it's difficult to ignore the upcoming run of fixtures
I find it quite amazing how the Bolton players and manager are all up in arms about a good old honest challenge. Oh the irony or it all is just spectacular. I can remember a Kevin Davies late lunge into Gael Clichy
Arsene has been talking about the role of the midfielder's and that relying for his strikers for goals will be a thing of the past. ok, maybe he didn't quite say that but he has spoken about the importance of his midfield
