When Thierry came out and said that he would have to wear a T-shirt saying that he is not going anywhere I was kinda hoping that would put an end to anymore speculation regarding Barcelona or any other bloody club to be honest.
You only have to look at our captain Thierry Henry to see that. He could join any club in the world for the last 5 years, but he plays at Arsenal
Rumours, rumours, rumours, seemingly the Henry one has died down but now it’s Cesc-talk again and sadly I don’t see an end to this crap, our players will be "linked" constantly from now until the start of the new season. Fine
So the season is over, it was a strange feeling really. I've never felt happier that a season has ended before. Our season could not have changed even if went on for another year with the available players in the squad
So we come to the end of another trophyless season, with third place still to play for. We need to either better Liverpool’s result, or if both teams win
A season has come....and has just about gone and soon it will be a time to do a 'post-mortem' of the season. Of course regretting how many points was lost along the way and where we could have
Arsene Wenger, Cesc Fabregas, Eboue and Thierry Henry have all come out talking up our chances of winning the Premiership next season, they all seem to sure that there will be a big difference next time around
In a season of transition for Arsenal, the whole pre-season transfer saga of Ashley Cole & Chelsea, Cole probably thought the day he leaves, he would be irreplaceable
Round 1: Chelsea came out at the bell throwing the most punches, they took the game to Arsenal and pinned them back in the early stages without really connecting with any real quality.
So we come to the last home game of the season, and it couldn’t be any more perfectly setup for another memorable one just like last season.
