Chelsea (a) – A Cocktail Of Pride, Happiness & Disappointment At The Bridge

Arggh! Why couldn't his poke off the post bounced over Courtois' line rather than out? It's easy to say Lacazette should have scored the rebound, but the ball came back to him sharply and at an awkward height, not to mention on his weaker side. Bit gutted that we did not get that particular rub of the green on that occasion. That is the game ladies and gentleman, some you win, some you lose

Chelsea (a) Thoughts & Predicted Line Up: ‘We Just Need To Be At Our Level’

That being all said and done, Arsene is right. Conte is known as a tactical genius by all sundry yet Arsene Wenger has beaten him in 3 of our last 4 matches. If you want to disregard the Community Shield that is fair enough but there is no getting away from the fact that we were by far the superior team at home last season and the FA Cup final. In the cup final, Ramsey made many runs into Chelsea's half and caused their midfield all sorts of problems. We were dominant and took the game to them. They were not able to exploit any perceived weaknesses from us because perhaps we just

FC Cologne (h) – Thoughts & (No) Predicted Line Up: Squeezing In Attackers, Makeshift Midfielders & Finding Wingbacks

The wing backs will be very interesting. Two of our left back/wing backs seem to be in our starting 11, which does not give us much flexibility when it comes to rotation. This would have been Kieran Gibbs territory but not anymore. I suspect we will have to play Kolašinac on Thursday and Sunday. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the season because he can’t play in every competition and Nacho Monreal is no spring chicken

Bournemouth (h) – Danny At The Double, Adds To Cherries Troubles

Lacazette is a rather interesting striker, not exactly the player I imagined he was before this season. I assumed he was more of an off the shoulder of the last defender type of number 9. But he definitely enjoys having the licence to roam around the front line, finding spaces between the lines to link up with others. The move in which the referee decided to blow for the foul instead of playing on was beautiful to watch and Lacazette was heavily involved in that

Bournemouth (h) – Thoughts & Predicted Line Up: 343 Out, Coquelin In?

That midfield three has a little bit of everything, well apart from being able to deal with being pressed. That aside, we have a player in Ramsey who can get forward and cause mismatches in the final third, Xhaka can break lines with his passing and Coquelin can do his Police Officer role in protecting those around him. While the front three can have pretty much all the freedom they need to pull Bournemouth around
