Gallas should come back into the starting squad alongside Toure. Flamini will probably keep his spot alongside Fabregas in the middle. I’d still much rather see Diaby starting in the middle, atleast in home games against teams that are bound to sit back
The last time Wenger spoke about Rosicky, he quoted this game as being the return date. However, with Tommy you can never be sure that a gentle breeze hasn’t reinjured him for a few more weeks, and sure enough, we probably won’t see him again until after the international break, assuming he doesn’t break while playing for the Czech Republic.
Aleksandr Hleb will have a fitness test on his knee that Marc Noble decided to give him at West Ham. Unfortunately Hleb is not our only concern. Emmanuel Adebayor (thigh), Abou Diaby (ankle) and Mathieu Flamini (groin) all have to be assessed
I’d expect pretty much all change from the team that played against Newcastle. Defense and attack pick themselves, Tough decision as always is the midfield.
Gallas and Rosicky definitely injured. There was a possibility of Hleb playing at the weekend, so maybe with a few more days recovery he’ll be in the squad for this one. Possibility of Eboue in the squad. I don’t see Lehmann making his triumphant return in this game.
In the Premiership, we've faced Derby twelve times, winning eight, drawing three and losing one, 3-0 away in Wenger's first full season. The last time we met them was March 2002, a 1-0 home win with Pires scoring the winner.
Arsene has to decided if he should restore Gilberto back to his holding midfield role and play Senderos alongside Toure. But it is possible that he will not change a winning team and continue with Flamini alongside Fabregas.
After Spurs’ hilarious start to the season, we travel to The Home of Scums to try and add to their misery. Maybe a fourth loss of the season at home to us will be enough to tip them over the edge and they all kill each other
Portsmouth are the visitors for our third home game in eight days, as we look to continue our good start to the season. Pompey were desperately unfortunate to leave Cuntford Bridge with nothing last weekend as they completely outplayed
Gallas and Lehmann are definitely out. According to Wenger "Sagna had a kick in the back, Senderos has an ankle injury. He did it in training on Friday and did not pass the fitness test. I think both will be okay for Tuesday".
