Your Vision – Importance of Signing League Winners

Another person who has not yet been linked to Arsenal but whom I feel we should seriously look at is Mathieu Flamini . The combative central midfielder is a free agent come this summer and we will definitely need another midfielder because there is the African Cup of Nations. There is a chance we may lose both Alex Song and Emmanuel Frimpong during this period and even though we have Fracis Coquelin whom almost every Gooner rates highly he is still relatively young and therefore prone to occasional lapse in concentration . That role is too important in our team to rely on only the youngster to do the

Your Vision – Plan B, Ramsey and Theo

What’s been frustrating of late, has been watching us look out of ideas with no real ‘Plan B’, looking predictable and so unable to penetrate the oppositions defence with our passing, for all Van persie’s great attributes, being an aerial threat isn’t one of them and if we are to really challenge for silverware next season we are going to have to have answers for these types of situations, (I’m thinking Wolves at home, Sunderland away, QPR away, Wigan home) and by answers yes I mean a target man. What we need isn’t only a target man but in a sense a complete striker, like a Dider Drogba if you like, a striker who with his physical presence can cause the opposition

Your Vision – Wenger Has Arsenal On Replay Every Season

monsieur Wenger never plans for them. There is always an excuse of some sort every season injuries blah blah blah no wonder those comedians at Talksport mock arsenal. Wenger has forgot how to be a winner he thinks he can keep hiding behind these excuses and figures forever every season for over 6 years. I tell you next season will be his last if he tries it again most Arsenal fans are fed up. Its like Arsenal is on replay every season like a Poirot episode in which he never solved the murder, in this case the Professor Wenger still

Your Vision – Why Ramsey deserves the fans’ support.

I find it quite bewildering that just two years later so many seem to endlessly criticise him, and some go as far to say as they want him out of the club. No-one is saying that he doesn’t have problems; he has often formed quite a frustrating figure whenever he has been on the pitch. He sometimes lingers on the ball for that one second too long, he doesn’t always make the right choice in the final third and he hasn’t shown exceptional finishing ability. What he does provide however, is an outstanding work-rate. He is never invisible on the pitch; he always does his bit defensively, and is usually always involved some way in our attacks, for good or bad. People may remember

Arsenal team”, the same people also called for Wenger’s head and called for a new manager at Arsenal, it’s worth pointing out that even before our recent form, we had a run from Oct 21 till the end of December where we only lost 1 game in the league and that was a narrow loss to Man city away. It bothers me that paid journalists failed to spot the correlation between our injuries and our form that was so glaringly obvious for all to see, yet still, most journalists and pundits alike don’t point this out and still call this Arsenal side  “The worst ever” While reading the match reports this morning, little

Your Vision – Forgive me, but next season seems covered!!

Prior to that infamous hiding, AW wasn't particularly known for signing players below 25 years of age, save for the likes of err... ahem, Mikael Silvester (lol) and free transfers like Chamack (I swear that boy just needs a run of games, but is good). After the drubbing, AW quickly pulled out his cheque book & gave us among others, Mikel Arteta & Youssi Benayoun, two players who i must say have been of much needed help. It also seems like a policy that is set to continue into the new season. Lukas Podolski is just awaiting a shirt number i suppose, while am sure Sunderland wouldn't mind mailing Sessegnon over if we racked up a figure close to what they want (but 8mil should do the job). Both are exciting transfers, & if u add the rumor that Rennes' much fancied Yann M'vila is

Your Vision – Aaron Ramsey’s role in the team

Ramsey was one young player who many Arsenal fans would have expected to step up this season with the key players departing and Wilshere injured. However his form has been indifferent which is understandable considering he is still only 21.Some Arsenal fans have already written off  Ramsey on the basis of  his recent performances which i think is really harsh. He had a pretty decent start to the season but struggled to maintain that form. The biggest criticism of his game was his  inability to finish off chances. Also he would often try to overplay by trying some back heels and fancy flicks when

Your Vision – When the Lady of Luck smile to us

Since I'm not an Englishman, and I'm not living in London, so my love for Arsenal isn't because of my place of origin or my root, it's simple because I love the way Arsenal's play, I love the way monsieur Wenger built this time from a bunch of youngsters who became a world class players. Arsenal are known as a team that play a very beautiful football, honestly I think, only Arsenal that can beat Barcelona :), but this beautiful football isn't accompanied with the luck, I lost count how many times we lost or held to a drawn by a very late goal last season, the CC final, a match versus Sunderland, etc. And this thing make people talk that Arsenal is a very good football team without maturity, that make Arsenal could be lost in a very last minute, but I think that, last season we

Your Vision – Jumping on team Diaby..but the train is slow!

In all these, i believe that in Diaby was once (emphasis on "ONCE") a gem. However injuries, especially that tackle pulled him down by the hip & at 26, there's no telling whether he will ever deliver a good performance consistently. A change of post code a' la' Eduardo (but on loan) would certainly come in handy to give him much needed boost if we are to get the best out of him. For now, we could use the extra wages. Robin Van Persie, in his hey days as captain of the treatment room was still much more dangerous than Van Der Vaart and certainly had more passion than the aforementioned Torres. Diaby
