Cesc Fabregas ran the show again and is really showing consistency at the right time. Lets keep him fit for the rest of the season and we will have a great chance to winning the league. Cesc lifts the team and seems to raise other around him
Get in! Lovely victory yesterday at the thugs ground. I only managed half an hour of the game due to events beyond my control but from what I hear Bolton even with their new management team were as dirty and despicable as normal. The hype from Sky about Owen Coyle left me feeling rather agitated after a while I must say. It was almost as if only one team was taking to the field yesterday. How Sly Sports were hoping for an upset, how they wanted to talk about the Owen Coyle factor in the post match talk, it was quite apparent but they didn’t get their wish.

More on the game here.
I am not happy with the news that both Aaron Ramsey and Samir Nasri will both be absent from the squad for three weeks, both players were really gathering good performances and were showing consistency. Ramsey’s absence will be a little easier to cope with as ‘We got Cesc Fabregas!’ but Nasri is a key component to the squad and will be missed during the up and coming weeks. Having Rosicky back fit (fingers crossed) will certainly soften the blow somewhat. It is hard to know which player is more important to the team, I suppose we haven’t had Tomas for a long enough run of games to witness the very best of our Czech wizard.
Andy Gray hit the nail on the head when he compared our situation to Liverpool. The team that finished second last season have been complaining about injuries to Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres and using it as the reason why they have failed so miserably well Cesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie have been out for longer than the Anfield duo and our squad members have really stepped up and shown their worth.
It is not only Robin and Cesc who have missed important periods, many of our first team squad members have spent time on the treatment table and it feels like it is almost impossible for us to get everyone fit at the same time. A few years ago, we would not have been able to cope with so many injuries but the squad have all grown up together and are showing the maturity that was always going to happen.
Apologies for the late and short post but busy, busy day.
Back again tomorrow.
