Cesc, seriously mate you don’t have to come out and saying anything this time. It is like the more he denies it the more this crap keeps being said

Good afternoon once again Gooners.

Appologies for random times of the posts over the last week. I have started moving house and have been engrossed in all of that, hopefully I shall be getting back to a normal time soon.

Lets start with the absolute nonsense shall we? Cesc is going to AC Milan for £31 million, the extra one million makes it sound so much realistic.

Cesc, seriously mate you don’t have to come out and saying anything this time. It is like the more he denies it the more this crap keeps being said.

Ok, now the usual tripe is over and done with lets get on with the real stuff.

It looks as if Arsene Wenger is winning his game of Poker with Bordeaux chairman Jean-Michel Triaud. It now appears that Marouane Chamakh’s future will be settled in the next few days.

“It [Chamakh’s future] will be settled in the next few days,” he told L’Equipe.

Well he won’t be signing a new contract, if Chamakh is true to his word so something much be brewing behind the scenes unless another club has come in with a bid that satisfies Bordeaux.

Arsene Wenger is happy with the condition of Eduardo after his injury problems.

Wenger said:

“We have recovered Eduardo during pre-season, There was a question mark about him, we don’t have it any more. His second surgery was very, very positive and he is really the Eduardo who arrived here. We have a very strong squad if you look at the numbers and the quality.”

You know what we haven’t seen yet as Gooners? Do you know what is exciting? Well, let me tell you. Eduardo Da Silva playing up front for a whole season. With the amount of creative players we have, we are bound to create chances, with chances being created and Eduardo playing in attack he is bound to convert a healthy amount of chances.

Theo Walcott hasn’t played a minute of the pre season so far but is now fit and ready for some good ol fashioned Arsenal action.

“Because of the European Under-21 Championships, me and Gibbsy came back last Monday, I’ve had a nice break – we had three and a half weeks off – but I am raring to go now.

“I’m ready to play against Valencia at the weekend if I am picked. I’ll definitely be fit.”

I am interested to know how Walcott will fare in the 4-3-3. The interchanging of the front players, Walcott can move into his preferred central position more often, instead of being stuck on the right wing.

We have one more pre season game on Saturday against Valencia so Wenger will want to play the likes of Walcott, Gibbs and Diaby but at the same time he will want to play the team that will start against Everton so Wenger will have to find that balance.

I have just seen a headline from Arsenal Insider that says Pre-season analysis – We are in great shape, ignore the doubters!
