Early Milan & Villa Talk

To be honest I have had just about enough of the whole Taylor, Media, Gallas, Wenger talk and I will try and refrain from speaking about it now

Today I walked out of my house towards the train station and usually you have to squeeze past people because it is so busy but I decided to swing a right hook at some guy who was just doing what he normally does and I broke his jaw in quite a few places. A police man was watching nearby and comforted me, bandaged my hand and announced that it was unfortunate. Mr Lean is not an aggressive person by nature. The guy’s wife was livid and showed her displeasure but she was shot down by the police stating that she was out of order.

ok, it is totally made up but you get the moral of the story.

Back to reality. Eduardo could be back playing football in 9 months and running in 6 months which would be quite remarkable really. To see his leg and ankle in the state that it was in (is in) and to think that he could be back in the number 9 shirt in 9 months later is quite crazy.

To be honest I have had just about enough of the whole Taylor, Media, Gallas, Wenger talk and I will try and refrain from speaking about it now. I am looking forward to the Aston Villa match so we can think and talk about something else.

Ac Milan playmaker Kaka is hoping to be fit in time to play Arsenal, which sounds pretty similar to the first leg. Kaka and Peto were apparently ruled out of that one and they managed to play without any problems so I expect them to have a full strength side once again.

I cannot get my head around the game in Italy. I know that we can score goals away from home but this game will not be as open as the first game. It is unlikely that we will create half the amount of chances as we did in the first leg. Milan will keep it tight and will have more possession than they did in the first leg.
I would like us to be a little bit more tactical against them and defend as a team and hit them on the counter attack instead of playing into their hands. Playing on the counter would give us more room on the break than if we approached it as if we are at home.

I suppose I am speaking about this a little early as we have arguably a more important match against Aston Villa on Saturday. Speaking of which Gareth Barry has been trying to put pressure on Arsenal ahead of the game

“We’re going there with nothing to lose, while they’re under a bit of pressure now. They slipped up at Birmingham and it will all be on them to try and break us down because the top of the League is getting very tight,” England midfielder Barry told The Mirror.

Villa destroyed Reading on the counter attack with both Young and Agbonlahor looking very pacey and direct. Clichy, Sagna and Gallas will have to be at their best to keep them at bay.

Kolo Toure is hoping to be fit to face Ac Milan and Arsene will have to make a brave decision either way. I still think that if a player comes in and does well then he deserves to stay there until proved otherwise. And I love Kolo Toure.

Food is calling me very loudly now, so I have to go and answer.

Until tomorrow.
