I think we should put out a very creative team and play without the ‘handbrake on’
Not very much in the way of Arsenal news at the moment.
Appartent Arsenal target Karim Benzema has said that he wants to stay with Lyon and has no intention to move elsewhere. Arsene Wenger said on Arsenal TV Online that he won’t sign anymore more than one player in the January window and I assume that will be a goalkeeper after he lets Jens Lehmann go.
Bruce you can’t have Bendtner, get lost
Skonko wants to fly kick Adebayor, nice
Mputu chooses Arsenal etc etc etc
I am gonna forget about the rest of the daily news because you have probably read it already and I can’t be arsed. So I am gonna start talking about Reading on Monday.
First thing is first, I am chuffed because I now have Setanta so I can watch the match in my home with a plate of food and a nice cold drink.
Second of all, I think we should put out a very creative team and play without the ‘handbrake on’ as Arsene recently put it. We need to get back into the habit of winning games and scoring goals. So our team in my eyes could be.
Sagna Toure Gallas Clichy
Rosicky Cesc Flamini Hleb
Adebayor Eduardo
I am not exactly sure how Rosicky would play on the right side of midfield but Hleb is a better player on the left and his influence is very important to how we play our football right now. Arsene may feel like he has a difficult choice picking a right sided player right now as Eboue, Rosicky and Walcott have all had indifferent form lately. Although Tomas Rosicky is the best of the three, he takes a few games to find his form after injury.
Eduardo should be given a start in his preferred position, the last time he played there he scored 2 good goals at Sheffield United. Reading have conceded the second highest amount of goals this season after Derby let in 5 to West Ham so lets hope we get Derby back level after the match.
I think we will prove to be too much for Reading in terms of footballing ability. They will play with alot of passion and workrate but I don’t think they are good enough defensively or tactically to stop us playing.
