Arsene has said that 95% of the team will be the same as against Fulham. We haven’t got a great deal to play around with so I am guessing that Monreal will start as he is the closest competitive back up that we have at present. Also Tomas Rosicky started to look a little tired at the end of the Fulham

I am making a habit of these bit part previews, I shall try and make it short and precise. A little like Santi Cazorla if you like. To be fair, Santi is pretty damn good. Maybe I could compare this to Aaron Lennon’s flappy arm when he runs.
At 3-0 from the first leg you’d fancy us now wouldn’t you? Mentally I cannot help but slip my comfy slippers on and sit back with my hot chocolate but as we have seen over the last two years against both AC Milan and Bayerm Munich, a tie isn’t over until it’s over. Granted Fenerbache are not quite the greatest team the world has ever seen like us but still, anything is possible.
I am interested to see how we approach the game and indeed how we line up from the start.
Let me get that over with first.
Mean Lean’s Predicted Line Up

Arsene has said that 95% of the team will be the same as against Fulham. We haven’t got a great deal to play around with so I am guessing that Monreal will start as he is the closest competitive back up that we have at present. Also Tomas Rosicky started to look a little tired at the end of the Fulham game so perhaps a straight swap with Jack might be a good thing, especially as Jack is naturally more defensive.
What I am most interested in is the way we approach the game. Our counter attacking football at Fulham was devastating, it was so good to see so many supporting players breaking to join attacks. I am not sure if we played that way due to the personnel or if that was the plan regardless. Arsene said that he had played an attacking side so they had to drop deep when we lost it, would we have played a different way had Mikel Arteta been on the pitch? This is why I am interested in our approach tonight.
With the scoreline in our favour, it will be up to Fenerbache to have a go at us and commit players forward, if they do that then we can punish them just as we did in the first leg and on the weekend.
I’d like Lukas Podolski to get another bite of the cherry, he hasn’t played games so should be more than up for it. I would also like to see Santi in the middle after his wonderful performance.
All in all, I am hoping for a good game of football and a comfortable score line so we are all set for the big one on Sunday.
