Flam should not start / Please stop RVP wide

They will play 5 across midfield and attempt to frustrate us. Thank god, Van Persie is not fit enough to play out wide. Has he ever played well on the left wing?

I am back after a day away. I couldn’t get to a computer yesterday hence the lack of content. There was/is not much to speak about really so I do not think I missed anything of much interest.

We were peaking through a slight gap in the door for the title but Manchester United slammed the door shut in our faces before we take on Everton.

It will be interesting to see how the players approach the game with absolutely nothing to play for. Flamini is back but I expect him to be on the bench now as it seems very likely that he will be joining AC Milan.

I expect Denilson to continue his job of imitating Flamini alongside Fabregas. There is not much point in starting Flamini alongside Cesc when Arsene is starting his pre season now.

It will be a very tough game today and we will need to take our chances for us to win the match. Everton are still fighting for a Uefa cup place and will want to take advantage of Aston Villa’s slip.

They will play 5 across midfield and attempt to frustrate us. Thank god, Van Persie is not fit enough to play out wide. Has he ever played well on the left wing? I really do not think so. I hate seeing him wasted there. He is not quick enough to play as a wide player. He plays well on the right of a three as for Holland where he is more of a striker than winger and can cut in on his left foot but on the opposite side it takes away a massive percentage of his game. Hleb is one player who can play on both sides and still have a good impact on the game. I hope Wenger stops changing Van Persie around next season, it clearly does not work. It is a bit like having Bergkamp on the right wing, you will get less than half of his talents. Anyway, enough of that.

The Niko Kranjcar rumour has just been inflamed by none other than the players father.

“Wenger likes players with a sense of the game,” Zlatko Kranjcar told Croatian TV station Index.

“Arsenal plays creative football and Wenger recognises this in Niko and he would be a logical replacement for Hleb.

“Wenger was interested in Niko in the Croatian League and he has tracked him for sometime.”

I just cannot see it happening. Buying from another Premier League team puts another 30% on the price tag. I cannot imagine Portsmouth wanting to let one of their key players leave and I don’t think that Arsenal will pay over the odds for him.

I have decided that I want Manchester United to win the League and Champions League. There I said it. You know why? Because I remembered a certain money grabbing left back that I cannot stand which helped me with my decision.

Not only that but they play alot more attractive football and that is what it is about at the end of the day.

Right, have a good day. and leave a comment.

Until tomorrow.
