It’s not quite a normal Friday today is it? I don’t mean the kind of Friday where you prance around and do less work than on the Monday, I mean we do not have a match on the weekend which is going to be a strange one. I would normally start talking about our next opponents but it seems a tad premature right now.

I will throw in a little piece of team news though. Kolo Toure and Tomas Rosicky have both been passed fit to start on Monday night. Philippe Senderos is back in training but to be honest it doesn’t really matter right now as the Toure and Gallas partnership is finally starting to take shape.

Arsene Wenger has ruled himself out of the England job, he says that an Englishman should be in charge.

I don’t know why England managers do so badly, everyone seems to be telling Arsene that he should be buying English players so I assume that there are a whole load of technical, well behaved players with fantastic attitudes plying their trades in an unheard league that only Steve Coppell and his proud pals have access to.

Hats off to Gilbero who has been fantastic during this troubled time for him this season. He has committed himself to the club by revealing that he would love to finish his career at Arsenal.

Sevilla’s president Jose del Nido, has been talking about us, he is hoping that we will play the kids against Seville in the match that will decide top spot in the group.

I doubt that Arsene will play his strongest available side in that match, it won’t be as messed with as it was against Slavia Prague but a few players will be sat on the bench.

Captain fantastic is displaying his positive powers once again, they seem to be like pringles. One you pop, you just can’t stop.

The young guys are ready, and have shown their character. It was not easy to play in this stadium, it was cold, but I feel they are ready.
