The left footed creative midfielder has an anxious wait to see if a work permit can be agreed based on his talent

Arsenal appear to be on the verge of a double swoop during this January transfer window, after seemly being set to re sign central defender Sol Campbell it seems that Arsene Wenger is continuing to add to his collection of talented youngsters by nipping in ahead of Everton to acquire the services of Bolivian U-21 captain Samuel Galindo.
The left footed creative midfielder has an anxious wait to see if a work permit can be agreed based on his talent. Wenger managed to bring Brazilian midfielder Denilson to the club based the same criteria, and will be looking to do the same with the midfield player.
Galindo is a typical Wenger signing, a captain for his national age group, good technical ability and an eye for the pass.
The 17 year old was set to sign for Everton but apparently the Toffees could not agree a deal so Arsene took advantage after allowing the Bolivian to train with Arsenal.
Expect to hear more in the coming days.
Meanwhile Sol Campbell lasted 45 minutes for the Arsenal reserves against West Ham reserves in a bid to gain match fitness.
Campbell could be an important figure in this second half of the season. Thomas Vermaelen and William Gallas have played in every Premier League match so far this season and the addition of Campbell could allow Arsene to rest his central defensive duo during a congestion of fixtures in the coming months.
This move could spell the end of want away defender Philippe Senderos.
