Have we ever played better football under Arsene? We have probably been more dangerous with better players but as a team, have we moved the ball around so fluently and slickly? Its an interesting point.
How impressive was that?
Rival supporters can no longer say that we haven’t proven anything against a decent side because make no mistake about it, Sevilla are a very good side. I bet they haven’t been beaten 3-0 for a long long time.
What I loved about the victory was the way we worked back and harried Sevilla until we won the ball back. It reminded me of when we were hungry before certain ‘star’ players got big for their boots. I will write an article later about this.
Nice to see Van Persie get a goal today. Hopefully his confidence can improve and we can see him back to his best.
Before the game a mate of mine (Gooner79) predicted the scoreline and I brushed him off.
‘Sevilla are a quality side, this is going to be a close scoreline.’
ok, even I am wrong sometimes 🙂
Robin Van Persie was interviewed after the match and said that we are playing football from a different planet. If that is the case then I am well up for watching the Venus vs Mars clash. Sky are probably going to have it so I may just have to get it streamed.

The only sour news on a wonderful night is that Rosicky, who seems to be trying to pick up where Aliadiere left off, hobbled off with a hamstring injury that could keep him sidelined for 2 weeks.
I thought Tomas had a wonderful game before he came off. The team passes better when he is there. He links up very well with Cesc and Clichy. Maybe its time for Theo to prove himself.
In other news, It’s goodbye and get lost to the Moaning twat of a manager Jose Mourinho . Its good news for Arsenal because he is someone who knows how to win trophies and get the best out of players (apart from Shevchenko, Ballack, Ashley Cole, Boulahrouz, Ferreira, Kezman, Robben etc etc)
Hopefully they can fall apart and make Abramovich a laughing stock.
