We have injury problems (So what is new) ahead of the match against newly promoted Derby County at the Emirates.

Senderos and Hleb will be racing against the clock to be fit in time. I noticed Hleb hurt his knee against Seville and spent the next 5 minutes hobbling around. He did shake it off and play a vital part in our third goal.

“Hleb is a major doubt because of a kick on his knee. He has liquid on it today so we’ll see how it goes down. Senderos is a doubt with a hip problem. We don’t know how bad that is. We’ll see how it responds to treatment on Friday morning. I could not give you a percentage chance on their fitness at this stage.

“I will rotate a little bit to bring in some fresh players. Who, I don’t know yet because that depends on whether Hleb and Senderos will be available.”

The fact that Arsene will rotate a bit probably means that Hleb will be out for this one to rest his knee.

I had free tickets to go to this but I am going to Nottingham for a mates 30th so I have missed out there. At least I am going to the Newcastle clash which is another sell out. Good on you Gunners fans.

Flamini is happy that he has decided to stay on at Arsenal, I must say I have been extremely impressed with him this season. He has been class. He would have been way down my list of central midfielders at the start of the season (one above Song probably) but now how can he be dropped? Even for Gilberto. He has not put a foot wrong and has improved his passing.
