This morning Inter Milan were courting Gallas then a few hours later it all changes. That is the world of out of football season

Scarasm in text form often doesn’t quite come off. I used to get frustrated by that but I actually find it quite amusing nowadays.

Yesterday I was having ago at the Sun newspaper and others of that ilk and then I added some of my own stories for other clubs. I was told that I was contradicting myself and that I was a dunce. I gotta chuckle.

A message to readers, if in doubt then just assume that I am taking the piss because I probably am.

ok, back to the Arsenal. Now that the Melo rumour was confirmed as successful newspaper stirring, they have now switched to Lorik Cana from Marseille. I would guess that hacks have searched through the blogs and picked the most common name which seems to be Cana, that name has spread like a disease. I personally cannot comment on the player as I have not seen him play, but I am willing to bet that many who have been screaming his name from the roof tops haven’t seen him play either.

There is no real link to Arsenal so like the Melo rubbish, I shall ignore unless a) the player says that he is coming over for a medical, b) Marseille say that a fee has been agreed or c) the agent…. ok lets forget about c shall we.

Now from fiction to reality, it appears that William Gallas will be an Arsenal player next season which would be great news for the club.

Gallas speaking to Sky Sports said:

“I am at Arsenal, my contract is still valid for a year, so I am an Arsenal player,”

“We have not talked about renewing the contract, but I am relaxed and looking forward to next season with Arsenal.”

Now I haven’t heard those quotes myself but usually when it is good news then it doesn’t get twisted so that is great stuff. Gallas was fantastic in the second half of the season before his injury.

Arsene Wenger has spoken about the differences between Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Wenger said:

“What Real want to do is produce what I would call a spectacle of football, a spectacular team. But I believe that when it comes to creating a team and a squad there is another dimension that exists, and that is my way of thinking.

“I want to have success by building a team with a style, with a know-how, with a culture of play specific to the club and its fans and with young people. That is what I have chosen in my career and want to ensure I continue here at Arsenal.”

Well Arsene, you are doing a fine job, Long may you continue and don’t let anyone tell you any different.

Everyone is giving their opinions on the new white third kit and to be honest I think it is quite nice, yes white is the colour of our so called rivals, not quite sure what they actually rival these days but it is our third kit so it doesn’t really matter what colour it is in my eyes. If we won the league and champions league then I wouldn’t care if our players had pink fluffy teddy bears on their shirts.

I did have a few things I wanted to say but I have run out of time but I shall save for a rainy day, probably even a sunny day.

Back tomorrow.
