I feel like since the Blackburn victory in the Carling cup all I have talked about is Eduardo Da Silva
Good afternoon to you all,
Not alot in the way of news today, but as usual I shall try and waffle and drain something out of this messed up brain that I own.
Firstly I want to respond to Andrew Gray of Tufnell Park, who contacted ArsenalVision asking what time I usually post the daily MyVision. Well it has changed over the season I used to do them first thing in the morning but I gathered that most other blogs do that so to be a little different I aim for 1 o’clock ish, so readers can sit down with a bagel and a can of coke and hopefully get any news that is too late for the morning blogs. Hope that answers your question.
I feel like since the Blackburn victory in the Carling cup all I have talked about is Eduardo Da Silva, he has now become a little obsession of mine and I am doing my best to kick the habit now. So I won’t talk about time standing still, calmness and ice cool.
I will turn my attention to his strike partner Nicklas Bendtner. When we were drawn against the scum I had a little tingle in my stomach (I was probably just hungry) that Bendtner would be a man that would haunt Tottenham in the future and then he popped up with the winner in the Premier league. I think he will score again on Wednesday night, unfortunately I can see Tottenham scoring as well. It is going to be a tough two legs but it should be more entertaining than the other semi final tonight between Chelsea and Everton. I have the feeling that Everton will do enough to get to the final.
Mr Lassana egg head Diarra is being eyed up by Newcastle United. They are apparently in the driving seat to sign the defensive midfielder. If he does sign for them then he will find the change in quality a total shock. Why doesn’t Arsene insist that he is not for sale and send him on loan somewhere so he can play first team football. Then we can wait and see what happens to Flamini and Gilberto at the end of the season. Bingo, everyones a winner baby!
Speaking of Newcastle it is looking like we could have them in the next round of the FA Cup if they can overcome Stoke at home, who knows with Newcastle though. They can find a way to draw against us but then lose to someone crap.
Cesc Fabregas wants to improve himself as a player and does not see himself as the finished article.
“Well I’m only 20,” he told the Daily Express.
“I want to think I can improve, I want to think I can be better, of course, because I don’t think there is such a thing as the perfect player.
“Not even Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry or Samuel Eto’o are perfect, they can always improve.
It is quite a nice thought that Cesc will get even better than he already is. He is already dominating the midfield at 20 years old. He does need to work on his temperament though, although it does give him that edge.
Ok, ok I tired but….
EDUARDO DA SILVA is once again in the news today. He seems to be involved in a major bust up with former vice-president of Dinamo Zagreb, Zdravko Mamic. Mamic didn’t really sound too pleased.
“I will not go so low as this punk, who was transferred to Arsenal just because of me,” complained Mamic. “I also don’t want to talk about how I freed him from his Brazilian manager, how I bought a house for his mother in Brazil and how much I paid for his operation in Slovenia.
Wow, he doesn’t sound very chuffed with him does he? Eduardo did hit back though.
“He sold me to Arsenal?” he asked. “But who was scoring goals at Dinamo? “And who broke all the records in the Croatian championship? Oh yeah, it was Mr Mamic! How could I forget something like that?
haha, I like the sarcasm Eddie! See the lad even has humour added to his array of ice cool finishing and Heroes type powers that allows him to slow down time.
Even Kolo Toure is thinking of Eddie Da Silva.
Toure said: “Eduardo’s finishing is unbelievable. It seems that every time he gets a chance he scores – and he also manages to score at very important times for us. His composure is outstanding when he is in front of goal.
I am playing football tonight for the first time in months and like a kid I am going to pretend I am Eduardo and try to learn how to bend time like my hero.
Oh, I forgot to say.. Guess who is player of the month?
Have a good day all
