Good Evening my fellow Gooners around the universe, have you managed to get your head around last nights proceedings? I am not sure that I have, it certainly was a strange game. A definite case of the good the bad and the ugly, although I am not quite sure who or what falls into the ugly department.

Arsene Wenger has given us some mixed news regarding our injury situation. Robin Van Persie is back for the Wigan game over the weekend but Denilson who was injured for ‘days’ has now been upgraded to ‘weeks’ I just hope he is not on the same path as Rosicky all those centuries ago.

Andrey Arshavin has a 10% chance of making the game which included one of Wenger’s smirks, so I am not too sure what was meant by that. I wonder what was Wenger’s lowest percentage ever to be caught on camera, I cannot remember any lower than 10%

Emmanuel Adebayor has been given a three match ban to go home and play with, it isn’t really that heavy considering and it made me think that it isn’t all that good for Arsenal anyway. I still have my expectations set on challenging Manchester United for the title some like to lower their expectations and that is a thing of choice but to people like me, I wonder how it helps us that Manchester United will not be facing the form striker of the Premier League, in fact I find that rather annoying.

Anyway, such is life at least we can put this to bed and stop talking about the man, well at least until he finds himself on the Emirates turf once again.

Moving on to something a little more fun. Tomas Rosicky is back and it is really lovely to have him back in the team. I didn’t mention it in my match thoughts but wasn’t his long pass to Bendtner just a thing of beauty? Imagine the passing combinations between Rosicky, Cesc, Arshavin, Van Persie and Nasri? Oh you opposition lot out there better be very scared.
