Young Gunner Carl Jenkinson has spoken to the official club website about his development since joining his boyhood club.
“Playing with the sort of players I train with everyday, I think it brings you on naturally. You are always going to get better. I was watching the Chelsea game again and in the dying stages when we were 4-3 up Chelsea were putting us under pressure and launched a ball into the box, Carl Jenkinson under massive pressure won the header out of the box that resulted in van Persie smashing in the fifth.
I suspect that he will regain his place in the team tomorrow, probably along with Thomas Vermaelen. He will have the backing of his team mates and hopefully the Emirates faithful.
Anyone who is a Gooner at heart certainly has my backing.
