Laurent Koscielny does seem to be letting off a little bit of smoke and according to reports he could burst into flames if we meet his clubs valuation which varies from €8 to €12 depending on where you are reading. Francis Coquelin is also supposed to be heading to Lorient
If you have just quit smoking try and avoid hanging around with your smoker friends, if you have just quit drinking alcohol, try and avoid sitting in your local park late at night. If you are having withdrawal symptoms from watching Arsenal then avoid watching England playing in a friendly match. I decided to watch what England had on offer via Sky Sports News and I think I wasted half an hour of my life. It only made me crave Arsenal football even more.
“I’ve always said that I want to win as many trophies as possible in my career, but not at any price, What I am trying to say is that I will work my socks off to get the maximum out of my career, but I won’t move to a club which does not play my style of football.”
Here, here Robin! I feel your pain. Winning should be a consequence of entertainment and not solely the objective of the sport.
Just when you thought the Yaya’s were covered up, out they pop again with money sucking agent pushing for a City deal to go through declaring Arsenal’s interest in his client.
Toure’s money sucker also known as agent Dimitri Seluk said:
“There’s a lot of interest in the deal (for Toure). Arsene Wenger likes him and Arsenal are interested. If the conditions are good, everything can be finished soon. He could come into the Cesc deal and Barca and Arsenal are struggling to come to an agreement. Everything has changed with City, because they talk a lot but then afterwards they don’t appear to be a rich club but rather a bankrupt one.”
Ah, I see that Mr Seluk has not read Arsenal’s official statement either. Yaya Toure should really have words with his agent and make sure he does his preparation before hand. Cesc Fabregas is not for sale so Toure would not be involved in any sort of deal with our skipper. Secondly Arsene passed up the chance to sign Toure before many even knew who he was so I am convinced that we are highly unlikely to be involved in any large deals to bring Toure to Arsenal.
So as much as all these Yaya swap deal headlines are being churned out for clicks, I wouldn’t bite if I was you.
Anyhow, Alex Dimitri Song Billong! is the much better player.
However, Laurent Koscielny does seem to be letting off a little bit of smoke and according to reports he could burst into flames if we meet his clubs valuation which varies from €8 to €12 depending on where you are reading. Francis Coquelin is also supposed to be heading to Lorient on loan as part of the deal which would be good for the kid. He needs regular footy in a more competitive environment than the reserve league. I like the look of Coquelin but he showed at Stoke that he is a little way off being ready for the Arsenal first team.
As for Koscielny, well like most ‘I know nothing, honest guv’
Let us hope that he can be another Tommy V, a player that Arsenal have had their eye on for some time who ticks all the right boxes and can join the likes of Sagna, Vermaelen and Nasri. Slotting into the framework of our squad without any problems. This is of course if we are actually signing the fella.
I wrote recently that I hoped we went and poached one of Barcelona’s promising kids for disrespecting us, it looks as if I may get my wish. Apparently promising kid Gai Assulin has stalled over contract talks with Barcelona and Wenger’s mob have moved in to try and prize away the talented wide player who is from Israel.
He certainly has a hint of Messi and Ronaldo about him. Here is a video of his ability. You may want to turn down the music though.
Young Guns has more information on the situation.
Got to go, plenty of stuff to do today, hence the early (for me) blog.
Back again tomorrow.
