Let go Ade, it’s over / Kovacevic to work magic? / Eduardo needs to remain fit

For someone who was so committed to Arsenal he did have a strange habit of speaking about how great other clubs were. I cannot remember a player like Van Persie talking about how great Milan or Barcelona

Happy Tuesday to you all,

There is plenty of pretty much nothing to talk about today. Which I suppose is better than little of nothing. I could have wrote today’s blog yesterday really, it wouldn’t have taken much guess work.

Adebayor talking about Arsenal again just like an bitch ex partner

Maybe I should write an international week template and submit it for each week of the break, that way I don’t need to come up with anything new.

ok, let me start designing this template of mine. First up, Emmanuel Adebayor once again talking about how was forced out of Arsenal and that he didn’t want to leave the club he so so so loved.

I’m still very pleased that I decided to move to City, I feel fresh and I’m really enjoying myself on the pitch at the moment. People here have treated me well and that was not happening at Arsenal.

“If I had stayed there, I don’t think I would have even played. Arsene Wenger didn’t actually say that in so many words, but we did have a good discussion.

“Basically, I was told that I must leave, even though I didn’t want to. He said they had come to an agreement with Manchester City and that it would be best for me to go.

“I had to leave because I must play games, because there is nothing better in the whole world than playing regularly.”

For someone who was so committed to Arsenal he did have a strange habit of speaking about how great other clubs were. I cannot remember a player like Van Persie talking about how great Milan or Barcelona were. Emmanuel Adebayor was a big player for us and gave us a dimension that we perhaps do not have with his pace and power but from the evidence this season it is clear that shipping him out to money bags Citeh was a great move for the development of the team. The movement and interchanging between the players is now much more fluid than it would have had Adebayor stayed at the club.

Like I have said before, I wish to talk of the guy no more. It is only due to the international wilderness around the blogs that I have even entertained the idea of talking of the thug. Why does he feel the need to talk about us so much I shall never know. Adebayor stop being a bunny boiler and just leave it be. Please.

Now back to a real striker, Robin Van Persie. The Dutchman is now looking for just about anything that can help his injury and allow him to return to the field as soon as possible.

Mariana Kovacevic, a Serbian housewife could well be rubbing her hands with glee as the football world is looking in with interest. Her unusual methods have helped players return to action much quicker than anticipated.

Danko Lazovic of PSV suffered a hamstring injury that was set to rule him out for five weeks but a quick pop in to see Miss Kovacevic and Lazovic was as right as rain in one week. Well that is some going.

Chelsea better beware, Van Persie could be back in a couple weeks! ok, maybe not.

Van Persie said:

“She is vague about her methods but I know that she first massages you for a long time with placenta fluid, I am going to give it a try.

“It can’t do any harm and if it helps, it helps. I’ve been in contact with Arsenal’s chief physio about it. The club has allowed me to have this treatment done.”

The question I have is how did she come up with this in the first place? I wouldn’t want to speculate. I have been suffering with a groin injury for the last few months but after thinking long and hard about it, I don’t think I shall be contacting Miss Kovacevic.

I have a feeling we shall be hearing a little more from her in future.

Eduardo da Silva has spoken about our formation and how it suits the players at the club.

“The boss knows our qualities and how they can fit into a formation. For me it is fine to play on the left or the right, no problem, the most important thing is to help the team and I feel good in those positions.

“It is a formation that gives us more movement and more creativity through the middle, although it is not easy because we have to balance defence and attack and that can be difficult.”

I have been speaking about Eduardo already this week so regular readers will already know my thoughts on the player. I am looking forward to Eduardo getting a good run of games together. He hasn’t really had that since before his terrible injury at Birmingham. We have to all keep our fingers crossed that he can remain free from the little niggles that he has suffered as a result of the break.

Lastly, the ever talking Arshavin has praised Liverpool for their support. He was speaking about the Russian fans and has told them that they could learn a thing or two from the scousers. He could cross out the Russian fans and write Arsenal fans if he wants.

Arshavin

“Our fans need to learn from the English football supporters, and in particular from Liverpool fans.”

I remember going to Anfield for the first time as a young kid for some kind of trip, for the life of me I cannot remember why it was but I remember thinking god this so loud compared to Highbury. One memory that sticks in my head was this young Scouse kid standing arms outstretched singing so loudly without any inhibitions, without any care of who was around him, singing with pure passion.

You look around the Emirates and you would struggle to find one person with that same passion. *deep sigh*

I miss the good old days *thinks about our football for a moment* nah, actually I don’t.

Can everyone stop what they are doing for a second, concentrate, breath in deeply and think happy positive thoughts about our players coming back tomorrow unharmed, uninjured and in good shape. I don’t think I could handle another injury like we have had to deal with Robin.

Right, enjoy your day. Back tomorrow.
