Exactly a month after our last home game the team return to Ashburton Grove for the first of four London derbies in our last eight games. Whether the team will have the balls to put in the same sort of gutless insipid pisstake performance as seen at Anfield infront of 55,000 gooners, we’ll have to wait and see. We’re still unbeaten at the new ground and I’d like to think the players don’t want to lose that record to a team about to be relegated. But this will be far from an easy game; a London derby against a side battling to stay up is always going to be a tough one. We’ve lost six of our last eight games (if you include PSV at home, which I do). The rot needs to stop, quickly, or we’ll end up finishing sixth.
Statistics – Wenger Years
Fixture History
At home against West Ham, since Arsene’s first full season, we’ve won six times and lost once, the loss coming last season. In total in all competitions, we’ve won nine, drawn four and lost two. We hadn’t lost to them under Wenger until 2006, but now they’ve beaten us twice in a row.
Current Form
West Ham have won their last two games but lost the previous six, and sit 19th in the table, five points from safety. Away from home this season they’ve won one, drawn three and lost eleven.
Team News
Arsenal
Henry, van Persie and Walcott are out long term. Eboue is rated as 50/50 after picking up another injury against Liverpool. On the plus side Gilberto and Aliadiere are back in the squad. West Ham
Dean Ashton out for the season, Mathew Upson out with a calf injury.
Teams
Arsenal
You’d expect a similar side to that which faced Scouse Cunts on Saturday. Although hopefully Wenger noticed the ineptitude of Baptista’s performance and has realised a player that isn’t motivated as he knows he’s not here next season. Rosicky will return and possibly Gilberto in place of Diaby and Denilson. I’d like to see Freddie back in the side in place of Hleb, atleast you’re getting a bit of effort and the off chance of a goal. I’d go for:

Bench: Almunia, Djourou, Denilson, Hleb, Baptista
West Ham
