Why not sell Adebayor and buy Villa? I would answer why not sell Almunia and buy Ben Arfa. Ok, perhaps a little extreme but they still have different roles in the side and cannot do the same job

Good afternoon,

It is an Internet cafe job today. I have been working around Warren Street these last few days hence the rather erratic posting times.

Lucky that there is sod all to talk about really. Well ok, there are a few little bits and pieces here and there but nothing substantial.

What do you make of the continuous Adebayor to Milan Rumours? They do not seem to want to go away do they? It is clear that Milan want him and they have actually enquired about him; the last thing I heard was that they have not had a reply as yet.

Wenger wants to keep him, the player is enjoying his football so why would he want to go? Cash! Dirty fat bundles of change. Basically Adebayor will not fight for a way out of the club like his team mate but if Arsenal accept any sort of Milan bid then I don’t think he will be that upset.

Ade is vital to the way we play and if there are any changes in that area then we will need another period of adaptation which is obviously not a good idea at this point in time.

Anyway it is all rumours, chat, waffle right now. Ade has denied it; Wenger has said he isn’t going anywhere so let’s leave it like that unless something changes.

Cesc Fabregas has spoken about his former team mate Alex Hleb.

Cesc Said:

“I have always said that Hleb is an incredible footballer and what he has done is underrated, well, everything that he DOES, because he is still an Arsenal player,” Fabregas told El Pais.

“That kind of footballer deserves more credit.

“But I tell it to you, he is an incredible footballer.

“I hope we’ll carry on playing together for years.”

Wouldn’t it be interesting if he stayed and committed himself to the club after all this. I would feel a little dirty if that was to happen. I don’t think I would look at him in the same light again. We would have a mini congestion of central attacking midfielders who are pushed out wide. Rosicky, Nasri (allegedly – that is to stop any jinxing), Walcott, Eboue, Ramsay (only because he plays in that role), Diaby etc

After much thought and umming and arring I quite like the idea of Yaya Toure swapping places with Hleb even if we get no cash for the deal. I still love the footballer that is Hleb though, I know a lot of you guys do not.

I am looking forward to the Holland vs France game tonight. I have a strange feeling that France are going to do another ‘no score’ tournament. That would be pretty bad for them. It will be good to get another look at Mr Nasri. I hope Van Persie and Gallas do not do a sort of double fly kick which shatters both players bones from the waist down. Be an interesting match up though.

Enjoy the game if you choose to watch, back tomorrow at normal time me hopes.
