I personally would like another central defender inplace of Gal..Tou..erm Gallas I suppose. Apart from that I think we need a back up to Clichy and maybe another utility player but apart from that I honestly do not think we need anymore players.

I went to bed with some truly wonderful news and I have woken up in good spirits because of it. Eduardo Da Silva is ahead of schedule in his quest to recover from a broken leg suffered from poor little old Martin Taylor.. the friendly giant.
I was amazed to see him kicking a ball and running on a treadmill. When I saw the injury clearly at the time I just couldn’t understand how his leg would repair properly. His foot was crushed underneath his leg, it was just an awful awful injury. I am just glad that the media put their warm loving arms around Taylor because he is clearly the victim in this horrific accident. Eduardo really should not have been showing off on the pitch and this 6+4 rule would help rule anything like that out if it goes through *sigh*
Superman Eduardo
The funny thing was I was watching the season review on Arsenal TV yesterday afternoon and watched when Eduardo begun to show what he could do in an Arsenal shirt and I was left thinking that this player is quite special. His second goal at Everton was truly fantastic. Would we have beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford had Eduardo been playing ahead of a very rusty Van Persie? If he was presented with some of the many chances we created he could have scored. It is all if’s and maybe’s.
Eduardo said:
“I am returning to Europe from Brazil at the beginning of August, perhaps even the end of July.
“Doctors tell me by then I will be fully recovered and able to play football again. I hope so too.
You can bet your bottom dollar (what a saying that is) that Arsene will not rush him through, I wouldn’t expect to see Eduardo feature anywhere near the first team until perhaps Christmas, maybe earlier depending on injuries, league situation etc.
Van Persie has come out and clarified his commitment to Arsenal.
“I’ve never thought about leaving for a less physical league like Spain,” Van Persie said.
“I’m a committed Arsenal lad and discussing a new contract. It’s not the money which is important, it’s keeping this team together.
“Collectively we can become something very special.”
It is funny how he mentioned that money is not important, just to everyone else in the squad ey Robin?
How I hope for an injury free season from him and Rosicky.
I was thinking about the team for next season (from the players we have so far) and even with the 7 substitutes we still have quality players not in the squad. Wow, we must of had really bad injuries last year because it took me ages to think who to leave out.
I would start the season with this line up..

I have had to leave out Vela and Senderos because Song can play in more positions than big Phil and there are already two strikers with Premier League experience on the bench. The reason why Eboue is lurking in the background is because I wanted to place him on the bench because he is the only one who adds midfield defensive cover and when you have Walcott in the starting 11 you need to be able to tighten things up of we are winning.
Arsene will probably continue to use 4-5-1 in European matches and tough away games I have made alterations.

I hope Van Persie doesn’t continue with the left wing role in the 4-5-1 because it really limits him but Wenger has always done this when he is fit.
