Nasri rumours are getting hot (video) / Real want Hleb

IF Nasri does join he would probably be Hleb’s replacement right? But Hleb plays on the right (when everyone is fit) and Nasri looks very much like a Wenger left sided player who will cut in on his right.

The Sami Nasri rumours seem to be hotting up now and as with heat sometimes you have fire and you know what the old saying is…No smoke without fire (for those who are scratching their heads)

I got back last night and saw the article on the Young Guns website who were first to find the story over here so well done dude.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, He is due in London today to have a medical. If he is I should be able to find out as I have my sources. Any news and I will let you know.

I have never watched Nasri play live and like most of you guys I have only seen You Tube clips. Cue video clip…

Customary You Tube Clip – Sami Nasri

Obviously it is very hard to judge a player on an edited You Tube clip as it only shows a players highlights and not their flaws. Infact I created my own Eboue clip last year, and yes, he looks a world beater! It is on You Tube under the name Arsenalvision so have a search if you can be arsed. Sorry, back to Mr Nasri. He looks like a player who can get out of tight areas and seems to have an obsession with nutmegging opponents which could be fun. I am still not impressed whatsoever with his career goalscoring record. I still do not want to jump the gun here but it reminds me of the Sagna deal last year. Nothing was said officially but the rumours were growing and growing.

So, IF Nasri does join he would probably be Hleb’s replacement right? But Hleb plays on the right (when everyone is fit) and Nasri looks very much like a Wenger left sided player who will cut in on his right. So he would be in competition with Rosicky who has hopefully put all his injuries behind him for next season. Walcott and Eboue are not really strong enough to last the whole season on the right unless Walcott really has a blinding consistent season. I cannot imagine Rosicky or Nasri wanting to play second fiddle. Arsene is not a rotator like Benitez, he plays his strongest 11 and makes changes depending on fatigue or loss of form. I will be interested to see what happens there.

It appears that we have yet another youngster on trail at the club. Reports in Ghana suggest that we have taken midfield player Tawrick Jibril for a two week trial. Jibril is 16 years of age and should show his stuff (skills) to Arsene Wenger.

Don’t you hate when impatient Championship Manager fans say stuff like ‘Oh god, not another kid!’ That is like saying stop trying to bring through anymore Cesc’s, Van Persie’s, Clichy’s, Walcott’s, Flamini’s etc because I am not patient enough to handle that system that is working so well. BIGGER PICTURE.

As I keep saying, I am more excited about the defensive player that Wenger will hopefully bring in. Will he be a Premier League player? Or will he be a 6ft3in Sagna? This player is going to be tricky to find. He needs to be powerful in the air, quick, brave and good on the ball. Defenders like those do not grow on tree’s. Arsenal’s scouting network have their work cut out, or have had their work cut out as I am sure the players names are already jotted down on Arsene’s notebook.

It looks like Real Madrid have entered the Hleb race which is a good thing. I have written him off from my mind now, he is no longer an Arsenal player to me. So hopefully the more teams that come in for him, the more the price will go up.

I have had a few readers contact me about the comments section. It appears that some comments are being blocked by Spam. I have no idea why that is happening. It happened to the name ‘Mean Lean’ I have had to change it to ‘MeanLean’ with the space and it works fine, so anything that does not go through, just slightly change the name and it will be fine. Hopefully this will not happen with the new site.

Have a good day. Drop your view in the comments.

Until tomorrow.
