It has been a while since I last wrote something and it may be a few days until I can properly sit down and write something semi constructive.

Some times in life you have situations and circumstances that you have to deal with which is the reason why I have been a tad quiet of late. At least I am being slapped in the face from life after the season and not during.

So what has gone on? Cesc was staying, then he was about to jump into Guardiola’s arms and now he is happy again. It wasn’t that long ago when I used to fall for it. I used to think that the sporting media may twist things a little now I realise that they are almost 100% full of shit!

Today we have a complete defence leaving the club. Sagna is the latest to be jumping ship, nah honest, I read it. He is off to Real Madrid as well.

Sagna said:

Cool, thanks for that, but haven’t you missed out a chunk of that somewhere? Maybe I am being silly here but I would kind of like to know what the question is before I hear an answer.

For example:

“I am surprised, and I don’t know anything, but I am not against the idea. I was keen to resume with Arsenal but we will see.”

“Saggy, Did you know that Wenger has just told me that if you do not dress up like a woman on match days then he may not let you extent your contract. What about that?

“Ary! (bacARY) I have just been told from a source that Wenger wants you to punch Wayne Rooney as hard as you can so he can improve your deal. How’d you like me now… mmm?

I could do this all day, and obviously the media do so unless Sagna has a full interview about his desire to leave Arsenal then just let the thought fizzle out of your head.

So far we are looking kind of depleted.

Toure (Manchester City)
Gallas (AC Milan or a French Club)
Clichy (Real Madrid)
Silvestre (PSG)
Eboue (Somewhere in Spain)

And this is just our defenders. I’m sure Wenger will buy another 6 or so to replace them though.

Speaking of defenders coming in, it seems that Ajax skipper is on his way to Arsenal according to his agent Sjaak Swart.

“It’s more a question of when than one of if it will take place,” Swart told Ajaxlife.

We have to be patient as we know that these things take time, it is not just a case of pressing buy and then the player ends up in the squad, a lot of paper work has to be completed before a transfer can go through.
