Abou Diaby could start ahead of either Alex Song or Denilson depending on who the manager feels needs more rest. Both players have ran themselves into the ground, closing down spaces, tracking runners and supporting the Arsenal attack

So far so good would the correct way to judge our last two games. We are still being kept at arms length by many pundits which is the way we want it at this stage. The Gunners won a hard fought game on Tuesday and Wenger will want to rotate a little but as the boys have had four days recovery time I do not expect wholesale changes, especially so early in the season.
Eduardo is fit and ready to start, so he could come on for one of the front three who have worked very hard since against both Everton and Celtic.
I would like to see Emmanuel Eboue come in for Bacary Sagna for two reasons, firstly Sagna suffered a knock against Everton and was a doubt for the Celtic game and in a game where we expect to be doing the probing it could be useful to have a more attacking option on the right, as long as the midfield three are detailed to cover any counter attacks down his side of the pitch as well as Clichy’s side.
Abou Diaby could start ahead of either Alex Song or Denilson depending on who the manager feels needs more rest. Both players have ran themselves into the ground, closing down spaces, tracking runners and supporting the Arsenal attack. Diaby played a big part in our second goal at Parkhead and could well be the player who supports the forwards from the midfield.
Theo Walcott will be missing once again due to an injury he picked up on International duty. He should however be fit and ready to face Manchester United on the following weekend.
Portsmouth will not fancy coming to the Emirates right now as they are losing players at an alarming rate, they are leaking goals and finding it difficult to score goals after players like Jermaine Defoe and Peter Crouch departing for greener pastures, if you can count Tottenham as green.
Mean Lean’s Predicted Line Up

I expect Arsene to make substitutions if the team manage to get a healthy advantage. Jack Wilshere could well be on the bench to make his first appearance of the new season.
Mean Lean’s Match Prediction
Arsenal 4 (Eduardo [2], Bendtner, Arshavin) Portsmouth 0
Arsenal will be too strong for a struggling Pompey side who will find it difficult to cope with the quick passing and movement of the midfield and attack. It will be interesting to see what our work rate will be like in a home game where we should win.
I am looking forward to watching how the 4-3-3 works at home against a team who will surely sit back and defend. I am also excited at the prospect of Thomas Vermaelen playing his first game at the Emirates.
If the work rate and commitment is still there as it has been then we should look forward to some goals and another three points.
