You have to agree with Arsene there, he hasn’t really improved very much since joining us from Southampton
It is Saturday today, which means we take on Fulham at Craven Cottage and I have a very good feeling about the game. We have not seen our lovely flowing football for a few months now and surely it is only a matter of time before we do again. As rubbish as the result was last weekend, I felt that we started the match the same way as we did at the start of the season. We matched Birmingham physically around the pitch and worked hard to stop them having the ball which we haven’t always seen from Arsenal against inferior sides especially at home.
It is great news that Tomas Rosicky is back in the squad and should go straight into the side of the left with Hleb playing back on the right (his third best position in my opinion behind the support striker and left wing)
Theo Walcott seems to be the main talking point today. Arsene has left him out of the squad to face Fulham this afternoon.
“He will get where I expect him to be,” the Arsenal manager said, “at the moment he is not.”
You have to agree with Arsene there, he hasn’t really improved very much since joining us from Southampton. I think he is a confidence player but he is a very inconsistent confidence player. When he starts the match he looks like a lost boy amongst men but many times already in his Arsenal career he has come off the bench and completely changed the game. Arsene should use him as an impact sub from now on until he develops his all round game.

Its obviously a big talking point at the moment as there were quite a few different opinions on a recent YourVision article called Over-rated Walcott
Vyacheslav Dmitriev the Russian 17 year old has denied speculation
“I haven’t signed a contract with Arsenal as some newspapers have wrote,” said Dmitriev, who has been nicknamed the Elephant, in the Russian media.
“If the interest is true, such a deal would only be possible anyway if the clubs have negotiated.”
It seems pretty likely that we will line up like.
Sagna Gallas Senderos Clichy
Hleb Flamini Cesc Rosicky
Adebayor Eduardo
Subs: Lehmann, Hoyte, Gilberto, Diaby, Bendtner
I haven’t had a correct prediction for a little while, so let me try again.
Fulham 0 Arsenal 3: Cesc and Rosicky to get goals, but Tomas to be the thorn in Fulham’s side.
