I have a feeling that Theo Walcott would get the nod over Eduardo as the Crozilan played in midweek

Good afternoon Visioners,

Its nice to focus on club football again, it is wonderful as a supporter to look forward to watching our football compared to that dross that England served up. I mentioned all that in yesterdays MyVision so I shall move away from that.

The injury situation seems to have worsened since yesterday. Arsene Wenge has confirmed that we are now without 6 first team players. Hleb, Flamini, Diaby, Cesc, Van Persie and Gilberto all miss the match against Wigan for various reasons.

Arsene Wenger said

“Hleb came back with a hamstring injury,” Wenger told Arsenal.com on Thursday afternoon. “So once again we lose someone during this [international] period. I think he’ll be out for 21 days. Flamini came back with a little thigh problem too. That will be one week maximum.

In some ways it is good because it gives the likes of Diarra, Denilson and either Eduardo or Walcott a chance but I have a feeling that this may disrupt our fluency. Especially with Cesc and Hleb missing from the side and the fact that we are never at our best after a International break.

Due to the injuries the team practically picks itself. Wenger has to make a couple of decisions.

1) Does he continue playing 4-4-1-1 and use Rosicky as Hleb. Rosicky is a different player to Hleb, he doesn’t run at players in the same way that Hleb does but his vision and creative passing will be more effective in that position. If Arsene does choose this system then he would have to play Walcott on the left wing with Eboue on the right.

We haven’t seen 4-4-2 since Bolton at home when Adebayor started alongside Eduardo in attack. But Arsene may decide that with the players he has available, that is the best formation for us.

He will have to choose between Eduardo or Walcott to partner Adebayor.

In other news our old pal Nicolas Anelka has been praising our football and has once again stated that he would love to play for us. But rather unlike the old Anelka he questioned wether or not he could get into our team.

“It’s just amazing what they’re doing now, and what they can achieve in the future will be crazy.

As a player I think Anelka would be fantastic in this Arsenal side but I just cannot see it happening. We have Adebayor, Vam Persie, Eduardo, Bendtner and Walcott so that is plenty.

According to the Sun (yeah yeah I know) We will be listening to offers for Gilberto Silva in the transfer window.

Manager Arsene Wenger knows he cannot keep all his central midfielders happy. And he will reluctantly allow Gilberto to leave in order to hang on to Abou Diaby and Lassana Diarra.

Do you wants some quotes? Well surprise surprise there isn’t any. Some clever chap worked it out for himself.

Arsene Wenger has said that he would help in appointing the England manager if the FA ask him for advice. Not quite sure what this has to do with Arsenal football club but hey, Arsene is a very kind man like that.
