Late entry today,

I have used the day to do some very important sleep. Its nice now and again to have a mega kip to catch up on the previous week.

I have just watched Manchester United do an Arsenal of last season and dominate against Portsmouth having a bucket load of chances and not score, then for Portsmouth to go down the other end and win a penalty. 1-0 and United are out of the cup. Hopefully this will effect their confidence in the league. We can only hope.

Robinho could have been an Arsenal player had Fabio Capello not have been sacked after winning the league.

“In 2007 I had talks with Mijatovic and I said to him that Robinho was not happy at Real Madrid because Capello had him on the bench and he didn’t play,” Ribeiro told told the Spanish media.

I would personally love to see Robinho get that role. He would bring us something that we don’t have in our squad. Walcott could learn from him in training. I think it maybe wishful thinking though as he would command a big transfer fee and we know that Arsenal don’t spend alot of money. If Fabio Capello was still at Real Madrid then we would have a slightly better chance of getting him.

He would have given us that extra dimension that we currently do not have especially as Rosicky has missed large chunks of the season.

Robinho would have been huge in our team, he would have given us what Ronaldo gives United, minus as many goals I suppose (yes, it is quite a big minus)

Anyway, there is no point crying over spilt Brazilians, Wenger will add to the squad if the player is good enough and available in the summer.

The bones are once again looking pretty bear for the big game tomorrow. I wonder if the Arsene will be forced to play Bendtner alongside Adebayor tomorrow although he does not like playing the two together. If the pitch is as bad as I am hearing then it could be a game for crosses and our two strikers are good in the air.

Cesc is likely to start on the right which will make our midfield look very narrow on that side so Sagna will have to work extra hard in coming forward and getting back when needed.

I think the game will be pretty scrappy and Wigan will look for the longer pass which will be dealt with by Senderos so I am going to go for a 1-0 win to Arsenal. A scrappy 1-0 win is fine just as long as we pick up 3 points. I think if Bendtner starts then he will score.
