Wenger said that it was a gamble to let Thierry Henry go. It isn’t really a gamble if Henry decided to leave is it?

Not quite sure that the reason for Arsene letting Henry go was because Adebayor was at the age where he had to play, but its a nice way of giving Adebayor more self confidence before a Champions League match.

“He is at the start of his career and we know that Platini has made his career. Cesc has it all in front of him, but he has a vision.
It is quite scary to think that Cesc Fabregas is only 20 years old. Infact it’s pure madness. How good is he going to be at 26? I hope he is still wearing the red and white of Arsenal at that time.
I was flicking through the Chelsea and Liverpool matches last night. Liverpool were lucky that Porto didn’t have a dangerous striker on form otherwise they would have lost the game. Ricardo Quaresma once again showed that he is a player playing in a side beneath his level. Beating players is second nature to the wing wizard.
You have to laugh at Chelsea and Mourinho. The guy is talking about eggs and omelettes and lacking certain types of eggs. He is insane? Doesn’t he realise how much money he has spent of squad players? He has lost two players in Drogba and Lampard now all of a sudden they can’t score goals. Hopefully people can see how much we were effected last season with injuries and without spending 762 Billion pounds.
