But just like it was ridiculously premature to write Arsenal off from having a successful season after only a couple of hours into the new campaign, it would be equally insane to get complacent after a good run of form as we are barely approaching the quarter mark in a long marathon. There will be plenty of tests ahead of us that we will need to overcome before we know our fate. One of those tests will be to shake off a physically grueling match in midweek to go again only a few days later, against a side who will be fresh and desperate for Premier League points

In today's Arsenal Vision Post Match Podcast: Arsenal return to Premier League action with another 3-0 victory, this time against a stubborn Watford team. Paul (@PoznanInMyPants) and James (@GoonerFanatic49) talk Coquelin, Ramsey, Monreal, Bellerin and more

I need to watch it again to work out exactly when this happened but about half way through the half until half time we cut Bayern in ribbons on the break with great passing between the lines from Cazorla and the speed of Alexis and Walcott. We really had the chance to Manchester United them the way we did the red devils only a few weeks ago but a combination of Manuel Neuer and powder puff Theo Walcott finishing meant we could not get the needed goals. That Theo header? Not his strength but you gotta be putting that away fella, hopefully some work on the training ground and a few Ian Wright videos (do they still do videos?) and he will get there.

On the first goal Coquelin robbed Memphis Depay outside of their penalty box just as they had won the ball back. Ramsey's part in the goal is somewhat understated I feel but it was the Alexis improvisation that really stood out. Only Alexis would have taken that cross like that in our squad. After a slow start to the season he is well and truly back and wow he makes a huge difference to our attack. Alexis Sanchez got a taste for it, and it was his flick from Santi's pass to Özil that was the beginning of the second goal only minutes later. Walcott zoomed inside the box, cut inside and picked out Mesut Özil for a cool side foot past the rooted de Gea. A few weeks ago Walcott would have snatched at that when he had cut inside but these weeks he is showing composure and making the best decisions for the team

After David Moyes then anything would have been considered an improvement! No, we were a mess. Like when Van Gaal first came to the club and said that the whole squad was unbalanced and he was dead right. We've still got about 5 players whose ideal role is to play as a number 10. I think Van Gaal has done a great job personally as he's trying to impose a whole new style on United whilst also fighting numerous fires behind the scenes. The Spanish players were rebelling against him at one stage but the re-signing of De Gea seems to have appeased them for now. I know some United fans think our new style is boring but if they just give it time they'll see that we'll actually be a much better side for keeping the ball and not just aimlessly banging it forward. The problem is that

A lot of the post match talking points have been about Arsène's decision to play David Ospina ahead of Petr Cech, a lot of people deciding not to take Arsène's word for it that Cech has been dealing with injury. I am not sure what that is based on. Arsène has never rotated keepers between the league and the Champions League before in his entire time at Arsenal. Especially with his established keepers. I find it difficult to believe he was giving David Ospina a go in such an important game just because he his desperate for him to play. I don't buy it. If that is the case and Petr Cech doesn't have any injury concerns whatsoever then he would deserve the finger being pointed in his direction

The only players to play in both games for the full 90 minutes were Per Mertesacker and Aaron Ramsey but Arsène has somewhat of a problem. Both Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini will miss tonight's game with injury and I think in an ideal world, Arsène would want to give Francis Coquelin a few extra days off and not risk his knee so even though Ramsey played in both games, I wouldn't be surprised if we continued with Ramsey in the middle alongside Santi. That would open a door for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to start down our right against the same opposition in which he scored his first Champions League goal.

I continuously bang on about small margins in top flight games and it could have been very different at 1-0 down when Vardy hit the post with a header, only for us to scamper down the other end of the pitch and equalise. 2-0 down away from home with the crowd buzzing would have been tough to come back from but instead Theo Walcott's left foot finish rolled into the corner of the net. Had he missed that chance

Regardless our form in recent matches and regardless of our opponents we are playing in a tournament that has always and will always be the last in a list of priorities. We played on Saturday 12th September against Stoke City then four days later we faced Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. Arsène had made a few changes in that game because we only had three days before we had to play Chelsea which was also away from home. Not only all of that but we had to pla

It is usually around the Christmas mark when Arsène flips open his book of rotation so to see both full backs come in as well as Ospina behind then and Mikel Arteta in the defensive midfield position was somewhat of a surprise to me. Now before I go on any further with this I want to say that I fully understand the managers reasoning behind the changes. Playing away from home on a Wednesday in Croatia only to face Chelsea away from home on Saturday lunchtime is about as
