Andrey Arshavin had a typical Arshavin game, frustrating with sloppy passes going astray, inconsistent with his work back to help his full back, tracking back in the beginning and then

I wouldn't be surprised to see a high scoring game at the Emirates later this afternoon. Leeds United will come and play football I believe and they will look to take advantage of a mixed team, hopefully we will have enough quality to score more than they do, even if our first half football

Alex Song was absolutely world class in the middle of midfield. Alex Song has often been dismissed as not good enough and the calls for 'the Yaya Toure's of this world' have often reverberated around the

Bac was perhaps the more aggravated of the two (due in part, I believe, to the frustration he shared with every Arsenal fan watching at City’s negative tactics) and the coming together was enough for

I imagine that Koscielny will be detailed to stop Tevez once in possession, leaving Johan Djourou as the spare man. It should be a good battle as both players are very tenacious and give everything they have. If Koscielny can handle Tevez then Manchester City's attacking threat will be greatly reduced
We are so involved in the season and all the drama that goes with it, that it is quite difficult to remember how impressive he was in those games. Physically imposing, a fantastic strong tackler and powerful engine. I have no doubt that had he stayed at the club as apposed to being farmed out on loan then he could have made quite an impact on the Carling Cup and FA Cup games at least. He could have turned into a very able deputy to Alex Song in the first team, especially alongside his buddy Jack
Carlos Vela is being chased by Bolton's Owen Coyle for a loan move and that would be a fantastic solution for everyone. We saw how much it helped Jack Wilshere and if it can have a similar effect on Vela then he will be pushing for a place in the team next season. However he does not produce or develop on loan then he may have to seek pastures new. Whenever I think of Bolton I cannot help but think of the dirty, lump it long side under Samantha Allardyce. The Bolton of today play some very nice football at times. I think Vela would work very well with the likes of Lee, Petrov, Taylor, Elmander etc I think many of the Gooner faithful have been a little harsh on Vela. I see a very talented (slightly one sided player) who is still learning his game but more importantly hasn't really had a run of games

Roger Johnson's follow through is far more dangerous and should be the talking point today. In a day where the pre match talk is often about which soft players are wearing snoods and gloves, sadly I do

an awkward ball knocked in – a little too deep for Fabianski to risk going for it, caught Sagna by surprise too - the ball was headed back across the goal and Squillaci, the wrong side of the man
