Gervinho is indeed correct, we are putting a little too much emotion into the Cesc and Nasri saga. Both players are very good players, one of them world class but as far as I know, many teams have won trophies and been successful without Nasri and Cesc in their set up. We will have to build our team a slightly different way, one that may or not be more productive.
The situation is as follows. We have four center backs. Two are new players and are unlikely to be sold after their first season at the club, the other is the best center back at the club but is injured, the other is soon to be the best center back at the club, Johan Djourou. Can you add a fifth center back? What are you going to do with a Gary Cahill when everyone is fit?
