So called King Kenny needs to take some responsibility for his players irresponsible behaviour before a recent game by wearing these stupid t-shirts. Suarez was not accused of a late tackle, he was accused of racism and surely any personal backing could be done in the dressing room. Anyway, this is a subject probably best kept away from an Arsenal blog as luckily we do not have to deal with all this controversy. Thierry Henry is all over dot com and as you would expect he has said all the things that we fully expect of an Arsenal legend. He expects to have a bit part role
Arsene has said that Robin van Persie will be given a rest and obviously that is correct. But if that is ok for Robin then I think Mikel Arteta and at least one of Mertesacker or Koscielny need the same. With the likes of Bacary Sagna and Jack the boy Wilshere on the way to full recovery, I kind of would like to see them play alongside other first team players and not a treatment table rotation policy

Theo has racked up 5 assists this season in the league and goals have been hard for him but still I feel he has done quite well. His performance has dipped largely because he is running out of gas. IMO he needs rest and he also needs to be

Our talismanic captain Robin van Persie has been in fine form and is currently leading the goal scorers log with 11 goals. His hat-trick against Chelsea is still fresh in my mind and I really can't help thinking the level he would have been at, had he stayed injury free 2 years back. He is currently on 29 goals in 28 games in the league this calendar year(2011), a feat only bettered by Ronaldo of

His goal was absolutely wonderful, little steps at pace into the box a quick shimmy one way and a zipped low shot across the keeper and into the corner. I cannot think of many Arsenal players today who would have scored a goal like that. Theo Walcott
This season Liverpool FC will be where we were last season in terms of years without a trophy. Yet I can honestly say that I cannot remember one time that a pundit, newspaper, commentator or whoever dished out that stat that they love so much. We hear about the roar of the Kop, about Stevie G, King Kenny (not sure what makes him an actual King) about their wonderful history which is indeed wonderful yet here we are today in 2011 and not a jot is said. Liverpool FC have NEVER won

His 1st goal was exquisite. Gervinho got the ball on the far side on the left, drifted in field and made a simple pass to RVP who dropped his shoulder shifted the ball to the other side with his right foot, beat Turner and fired home from just outside the box with his right foot to give us the lead.
Like most Arsenal players these days, Theo's one major enemy is the injury curse that seems to get its wicked way with him more than the usual Premier League footballer. It also seems to take Theo longer to get back to his best after injury than it does to some others in our squad. Should his injury issues persist then Chamberlain will surely have the door open enough

As the title suggest, there have been a few positives in the past weeks that we tend to overlook based on the overall context of our terrible results. We are in the middle of our worst start in the Premier League and we are being lambasted, rightfully so, from all around us. However, there are some things in each match that I have tried to latch on too in order to keep my hopes
D-Day began with none of the excitement of the previous day where we virtually sealed deals for Santos and Mertesacker completely out of the blue. In terms of paperwork etc, I’m sure the Club wanted to get these rubber-stamped before the search for a midfielder or two began in earnest. And so Santos and Mertesacker were announced at 3pm and 4pm respectively, leaving a good seven hours
