The Anti Adebayor crew will be pleased

Bendtner and Van Persie looks like a good technically partnership. Both players are probably technically better and better link up players but the one thing they do lack is pace

There is a brightness to this morning, an air of freshness. I feel like the gloom of the last 3 weeks or so will be lifted from our heads today.

The Anti Adebayor crew will be pleased to hear Arsene Wenger hint that Adebayor could be rested today as he has played alot of football this year. Bendtner could come in to partner Van Persie in attack today against Bolton.

I think some sections of Arsenal supporters expect Adebayor to pull down 40 yard passes, beat 4 players and bend the ball into the top corner, and if he doesn’t do anything like that then he is rubbish and should be replaced with a 70milion pound superstar. It doesn’t matter what type of player he is, just as long as he cost alot of money.

The fact of the matter is, Adebayor was not bought to fill Thierry Henry’s boots, he was not bought as a goalscorer. He has stepped up to the mark this season and has contributed heavily to our goals. Robin Van Persie was the man who was supposed to be the goalscorer with Ade his workhorse next to him to make spaces, hold the ball up, knock balls on.

Bendtner and Van Persie looks like a good technically partnership. Both players are probably technically better and better link up players but the one thing they do lack is pace so Walcott will be important to our attacking play if he starts. If not then we may be lacking that little bit to get away from the Bolton back four.

Speaking of lacking pace, Bolton are pretty crap going forward and have no real pace in attack so we should play quite a high line to stop Davies causing problems around our box.

Cesc Fabregas has said exactly what alot of Arsenal fans feel.

“I feel every time we lose or we don’t play well it’s like everybody’s happy,” said Fabregas in The Sun.

“I still don’t understand why everybody is against people who try to play nice football.

“We’ve been playing fantastic football. But it’s true people like to see us lose. That’s the way I feel”

He doesn’t understand why, well that is easy. We do not have a team full of beer drinking, roasting, crashing cars, leg breaking, long ball merchants. If we did then the press would be signing our praises.

I hope Theo Walcott gets a chance to start the game today after not taking part for England. I expect Eboue to be rested after his 90 minutes for the Ivory Coast, unless he is the chosen one to play right back. But I expect Arsene to use Senderos to counter Bolton’s Aerial game.

Possible Line up:

Almunia
Toure Gallas Senderos Clichy
Walcott Cesc Flamini Hleb/Diaby
Van Persie
Bendtner

Prediction: Bolton 0 Arsenal 2 – Van Persie pulling the strings and back on the scoresheet
