Wenger will not sign Villa

I do think he could do a great job alongside Adebayor. Face it, it will be ALONGSIDE Ade and not instead of, so all the Ade haters better grab themselves a stiff drink

Hello Visioners,

I played football last night and came back home late and tired, I turned on my laptop to read some of your comments and check any latest news.

I read that David Villa from Valencia has been wearing short skirts and flicking his eyes at Arsene Wenger, ok maybe not exactly but you catch my drift.

Villa said: “I watch the Premier League a lot and the team I’m most attracted to is definitely Arsenal.

“Their brilliant one and two-touch football and the whole style of rapid counter-attack which dominates the top level of the Premier League now is the one which suits my game best of all.

“I think I’m made to succeed in England but of course it’s one thing saying it and quite another getting there and then doing it.

“The Valencia president always told me he wouldn’t sell me until summer 2008. If an offer comes in I’m hungry to test myself in England.”

We don’t actually know what the question was to Villa. It could have easily been something like ‘..So Mr Villa, which English clubs have you been impressed with this year?’

It is not always as it seems, but if he is trying to get himself a move to Arsenal then he is probably wasting his time. I just cannot see Arsene paying over £20 million pounds on a player when we have Adebayor, Van Persie, Eduardo (Eventually), Bendtner, Walcott and Vela not to mention the younger players coming through such as the impressive Barazite.

I do think he could do a great job alongside Adebayor. Face it, it will be ALONGSIDE Ade and not instead of, so all the Ade haters better grab themselves a stiff drink and start realising that Adebayor is one of our spinal players and not someone that Arsene is looking to replace.

If Wenger was going to purchase someone like Villa then I would expect at least Bendtner heading out of the club. Basically, Wenger will not sign Villa.

Bacary Sagna has said that he could stay for Arsenal for the rest of his career a year after joining the club.

“I like to play all my life for Arsenal,” Sagna told Arsenal TV.

“I feel very good in this team and country and I like English football, I miss one thing, my family.

“Arsenal are a very good team, known all over Europe, there are a lot of young players. We all want to go forward and that’s I wanted to play here.

To be honest I do not take any notice of ‘I love the club, I am here for life’ type comments. I have heard it all before with the likes of Vieira, Cashley and Henry.

If Sagna improves every season then we could well be looking at the worlds best right back. A new club, new country, new brand of football, new language. You have to take your hat off to the quality he has provided us with.

I am off to find myself some lunch, enjoy the rest of the day.

Until tomorrow.
