I’m really surprised at the amout of criticism coming Adebayor’s way recently , It’s like he’s been playing like rubbish for the past few months , but in reality he’s been out injured. ( maybe they got him confused with our other tall striker who is “still young” )

Anyway my point is that yes he hasn’t been great up untill his injury , but who in the arsenal squad has ??!! Before Fabregas got injured he was no where near his level of the past two season , Clichy is still rubbish (except the Newcastle game) & don’t even get me started on Bendtner .

I agree that Adebayor had a lot to prove after what he did in the summer , but until he got injured he was our joint top scorer with robin , and he scored more goals in less than half a season than Bendtner did in almost the whole season.

So why the sudden stick he’s been having ???!! for me he’s one of our better strikers , maybe not as good as Eduardo or Van Persie , but he gives the team that other dimension we lack without him . Maybe he really does want to leave , but lets just wait and see he’ll be back in the part of the season that matters & if he does deliver then great for us , if not & he’s still lazy , he’ll get shipped in the summer & there’s always “the up and coming” Bendtner .
