Flamini was outstanding against Milan. His transformation from average squad player to almost world class midfielder has been incredible.

That bit of skill he pulled off on the edge of their box to get past Pirlo was awesome. Not only did he keep a midfield consisting of Kaka, Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini and Seedorf quiet all night but he also drove the team forward.

His reaction to Adebayor’s header hitting the crossbar sums him up really; the passion. He just dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head in despair:

Flamini is a special player in my opinion, he is so mentally strong. He was never blessed with the natural skills of a Redondo, a Hargreaves or a Mascherano but through sheer hard work and determination he has risen to the top of the game.

The thing that I love most about Flamini is his love for Arsenal. He is a Gooner. He is the one guy that you just know would go to war for the team just like any of us fans would if we put on the red and white. He plays with so much passion as if he was a fan.

To hell with Flattuso, Mattuso and Gattuso. Flamini is his own man now, hail the Flamster.
