The youth system has worked well for the gunners.We’ve got the best team on earth,yeah the best.But when did we last win a major trophy?That FA cup against the Devils in so long ago.To be honest,Arsenal does not have a world class striker in Adebayor.

Ade,for all his hard work and the goals he’s scored thus far, hasn’t convinced many that he’ll rise to the occasion when you play the best of teams.Say like Big Milano.We need a striker capable of scoring when your chances are limited as am sure we’ll not have a host of chances against a team of Milan’s stature.This is not to say that the we do not stand a chance against the Italian giants.NO NO NO.In fact am betting on the gunners making to the quarter finals.But honestly ,what’s wrong with signing a player like Karim Benzema who’ll come at a little over 10m and is given scorer on any day any where.Our main rivals spend big am afraid it does pay.

Chelsea hadn’t seen a trophy in more than a half decade and see!!!!!!!!!Back to back premier titles, an FA,two Carling cups, and two semi final appearances in the European league.And these are {sorry,were}our whipping boys.This is the same Chelsea we’d eliminate every season at some stage,not so anymore.
And all because they have decided to spend big.

Now Wenger should wake to this reality.The trophy won’t come on silver platter.The boys have been playing hard and thanks to their beautiful game for the results are now coming.
The bookies have all gotten it wrong thus far by predicting that the gunners would finish outside of the top four .

But nobody is betting their money on the gunners finishing ahead of United.United are still the bookies favourite to win the title.

Wenger should sign big names.It’s inevitable in a league like ours if you still want to be winning things.
The other thing is,if at the end of this campaign we fail to clinch the title{God forbid},players like Cesc won’t see any reason he should start it all over again.I mean it’s still the same old story.The beginning and the ending are very much the same.And if I’m not wrong, that’s what he’s been hinting at.Cesc said that at the end of the season we deserve to win something for all our beautiful game and the efforts.

Hope Wenger signs the players we’ve been craving for,Benzema,Quaresma,Robinho,Palacio,Modric,Old legs Anelka or even {Berbatov at the ”Spuds” so they are relegated at seasons end.}.
So far so good.We still the top dogs, but we shouldn’t ignore at the obvious lack of real strikers in our squad.
