I believe denilson and diaby can come in for cesc, rosicky and nasri will compete for the left midfield spot but we need more competition on the right side for walcott

Looking around all the arsenal blogs and fan websites you would think we’re in complete crisis and its all doom and gloom heading into the new season. I want to make you think otherwise with a couple of points:
Yes Flamini has gone and Hleb will probably follow but trust me-they CAN be replaced. Nasri will arrive who wont offer quite the same skill, touch and dribbling as Hleb but he almost will certainly offer more of a goal threat. That is something we really lacked last season and the one before- this was partly down to hleb being the main culprit of this. With nasri in we’ll be able to keep the same possesion levels and create as many chances but at the same time look like we’ve got more sharpness and conviction in front of goal. Also walcott will really step up to the plate next season through natural progression through more playing time and increased confidence. Walcott will offer much more penetration down the right hand side and is a quality finisher.
Our key players next season will be Fabregas, Walcott, Toure, Van Persie and Clichy. These are the players you get the feeling they really care for the club and will dig deep in tight games plus always give 100percent. If we keep all these players fit and on form all season it will carry us through the tough times and it will rub off on the other players. If you add to this Sagna, Rosicky, Gallas, Eduardo and adebayor if he stays(vela and bendtner will give penetration off the bench)- there is a strong spine there that can be matched with any squad in the premiership. Plus with the youngsters who I think wil come through next season: Barazite, Song, Lansbury, Ramsey and nordtveit- it bodes well for the future also.
I think we can really get a head start a the beggining of next season- man utd will be without Ronaldo(injury)-thats 50% of their team for the first 2 months. Hell- he might even be in Madrid. Lampard will be off to italy, and scolari and his new team members will need time to adapt to the league. Liverpool will NOT win the league.
Basically to sum up, our midfield will be much more effective and efficient next season. There will be more goals coming from nasri, fabregas, walcott than from rosicky, hleb, fabregas. This will take lots of the pressure off the strikers. We’ll be able to counter attack with more pace and conviction like Manchester United as we’ll have more penetration, pace and better finishing in the midfield.
Do we have enough backup? I believe denilson and diaby can come in for cesc, rosicky and nasri will compete for the left midfield spot but we need more competition on the right side for walcott. Someone like arshavin would be perfect. Our strikeforce of Adebayor,Bendtner,Van Persie,Vela and Eduardo is a very good strikeforce and maybe the best one in europe-no exagguration.
I believe we are talented enough to win every competition next season, but we have to get over the mental block of having won nothing for 3 years. If the team keeps a positive attitude all season, we get over our setbacks quickly(and there WILL be setbacks) and the new players settle quickly I believe all arsenal fans should be very optimistic for the new season
