Dear Editor ,

I’ve come to realize that there must be a curse that follows players who decide to leave arsenal or even players that wenger lets go . & no I’m not just being bitter here but it’s really quite fascinating when you think about it .

1-Anelka : since he left arsenal he played for 7 clubs in 9 years not achieving anything near what he promised at arsenal , where his replacement Henry was setting the premier league on fire .
2-Edu : left arsenal in 2005 & only managed 16 appearances for valencia due to injuries also not participating in the 2006 world cup.
3-Viera : left for Juventus . where they got relegated just 1yr after his transfer , getting humiliated along the way by his teenage successor fabregas at highbury in the champions league .
4-Reyes : well he got his wish to play in the sun of madrid but dissapoiningly for him it wasn’y Real Madrid , who let him go after a one year loan perion , it was Athletico who signed him where he sits on the bench for rising star aguero , as Reyes hasn’t scored a single goal since arriving there .
5-Henry : Truly the greatest gunner of all time has his future in doubt at his Barca dreamteam where the club appears in great turmoil that wouldn’t be solved before either him retiring or they selling him .
6 & 7 – Pires & ljunberg . just look at them now . & finallly the latest Arsenal curse to hit was poor old Flamoney who went to euro giants A.C Milan for a brighter future & a bigger bank account but for the first time in ages (& maybe ever ) Milan have failed to reach the champions league , & will have to play in the UEFA cup where the biggest team they’ll meet is the mighty spurs . I wonder if he knew that Milan will not be in the champions league next season would he have signed ??!

There are exceptions ofcourse like Cashley or Diarra , but I just had to see if anyone else sees what i see , or am I just a big conspiracy theorist at heart. Cheers !!
